My 1st time here. I came for the GT race. Limited food options, I didn't know bringing your own food and drinks was allowed. Pack the sunscreen, sun glasses, a hat and a jacket. It got a bit breezy and cold after 5pm. Prepare to walk a lot. I had a great time and made friends, friendly staff and clean bathrooms.
From my first time seeing NHRA to my first time drifting to my first race track experience. This was where it started. 11 turns of fun and excitement. Lots of hills and a great place for a power walk. Check this place out during the Wednesday night drift and drags
Awesome experience visiting this track. I went to see a friend race and had a great time watching different races with drivers ranging from amateur to semi-pro. The track itself was pretty technical and there were several crashes while I was there, but everyone was in a great mood and super friendly. Good surrounded by grassy hills and blue sky with solid vantage points for photographers/videographers at most turns.
Road course surrounded by the Sonoma Mountains. I visited back in September for a performance driving class. Weather was perfect that day. A great day to be on the track learning performance driving skills. There is a cafe and motorsports store for racing gear and souvenirs.
Came for the Wednesday drag and drift event. Absolutely a blast if watching every day people hoon their ride around a closed course. For $35 you can hardly beat the entertainment.
What an amazing time out here. We had the opportunity to meet some racers and the staff very friendly. Pam spent a great portion of her time sharing history of all the different class of races and even walked us around showing us all the different cars racing today. If you ever have a day open during an event make your way out and experience a memorable moment.
First time there and it was great. Aside from the traffic its a great place to spend the day around racing. Definitely going more.
The former Sears Point Raceway is a very complete track. They offer drag races and NASCAR races as well as the road racing we went for. The facilities are large with stands and viewing areas all over. Situated in Sonoma close to the San Pablo Bay, the weather is very temperate. Several wineries are located within a 10 mile radius to provide additional entertainment. Listening to the various drivers, this track is great favorite with them!
Went to the holley high voltage event. Chargers are available to event participants. Parking was not too bad. It was up the hill but they had a shuttle that made the rounds every 7 mins or so. Parking is on dirt and gravel so drive slowly.
Absolutely AWESOME Race Track!!! Beautiful, well laid out, lots of bathrooms and ton of concessions stands!! Racing was fantastic! Love Sonoma!
