I was not impressed, but being this far from Nampa or Caldwell, I’m not surprised. I ordered their “molcajete” for almost forty bucks and basically got a half quart of tomato soup with a few measly pieces of meat and a tough slab of undercooked cactus. They make it look BIG, but it really isn’t allot of food. The rest of the family was not very impressed either with their burritos and carne asada plate. They forgot my wife’s sour cream and they did not put sour cream in my daughters burrito. Maybe sour cream is hard to come by in Horseshoe Bend. Next time I’ll just order the horchata. To go.
Delicious beans, rice, enchiladas and salsa. Hot dinner plates was fantastic. I'm not used to that wonderful style of serving food on pre heated plates. Our waitress was so patient and pleasant and I found out, also a body builder. Which is very impressive. She was so beautiful. Thank you for the great food and service! Kid-friendliness: Have American and kid sized meals. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA Compliant, single level, door is even with the parking lot.
Absolutely amazing. We stopped here on our way home for lunch and the food was extremely good I got the red chicken enchiladas and the sauce was so amazing as well as the enchiladas themselves. Service was great and our waiter was beyond friendly and sweet. Haven’t had this good of Mexican food in a long time.
Stopped here on the recommendation of our raft guide on the Payette. Food was great as advertised, but the service was non-existent. After a generous wait for our food something we’d been told to expect, it finally came and the order was wrong. Then I had to go and fetch some silverware and napkins for my entire family because none were offered or delivered, nor was our server around to ask for said items. I only had one margarita because, well, no-one was around to ask if I wanted number two. First time in my adult life I felt like $0 tip at a sit-down restaurant was warranted.
Loved our experience here! It was exactly what I hoped for a small town Mexican restaurant. Food was good, service was great, loved that there was a little play set in the back that our little guy could enjoy. Delicious margaritas and virgin margaritas! And so satisfying to support a local small business. I’ll definitely return whenever we’re in town visiting family!!
Same as Dori Bernsen's recent review. Horrible food and minimal service. Terrible sauce right out of can. A very few chips. With 20% gratuity 2 small lunch plates and 2 draft beers...$45.77. Have eaten there at least 50 times. Owner polite but no recognition or departure Thank you. Never again.
Stop here during a road trip. Good food at a good price, although their portions seemed to be smaller than expected. When we arrived in town, this restaurant had the most vehicles parked in front, which made us choose them. Overall, it's not bad, considering your options.Food: 4/5
We had a great experience. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The portions were very big.. giant burritos and good kid menu options. The bean dip with the chips was a nice touch and their suiza sauce was great. Great tasting food. We are glad that we stopped to eat lunch.
It was my first time at. Sonora restaurant, the food was very good, excellent service. The food was very authentic and you get a good quality for the price. I would highly recommend you stop there if you're passing by horseshoe Ben.Food: 5/5
It used to be excellent food & service but the last 2 times we were there were awful, food and serious. Half th amount of Sala and chips to get started. The sause used on enchilada and burrito was the same and unlike anything we have ever had there. Service was very slow and lackingFood: 2/5
