The assistants at this office are excellent however Dr. Juan Diazcadena himself is awful. He does NOT communicate well with patients, he does NOT show empathy, & he definitely does NOT care for the well being of patient or baby. This company’s philosophy states that one of their main goals is to ensure you are comfortable, that was the very last thing on this doctors agenda. He is money motivated and I would never recommend him.

I found this doctor on my insurance co.'s website so I came to Yelp to read the reviews before calling his office. So glad I did. I was appalled to see the doctor reply to Danay Dansby's review by revealing her private HIPPA info in a public forum. Something needs to be done about that & I'll definitely avoid that office like the plague. I wouldn't want them publishing my HIPPA info in a public forum if I complained about their services.

Dr. Diazcadena is a excellent doctor. He made my sister at ease and comfortable during her exams. I would highly recommend him to take of the women you love. Great job Dr. Diazdadena Thanks

Horrible experience, I was referred to this doctor office and they have been so lazy. Lied to me about my insurance not covering ultrasounds but only one. I talked to my Insurance company and that isn't true. Who only can get 1 ultrasound for an entire pregnancy? Not only that but when i was 13 weeks pregnant I had discomfort going on with my lady parts. He wouldn't give me anything told me i didnt have anything and he cant give me something for comfort. 3 weeks later i go to the ER that I've had an UTI this whole time. I wouldn't ever want anybody to go through the same thing I had. They don't care about the health of an unborn child.

Sonora Womens Healthcare is amazing! I personally got treated with nothing but patience and respect from the staff. I was seen by Dr. Cadena's, who is very informative, and gentle with his procedure he performed on me. On top of that, you do NOT have to wait long for an appointment. I recommedn this OBGYN to everybody!

Honestly, the nurses are really nice and helpful. However, the doctor was not professional at all in my eyes. I'm a 20 year old female who was looking to start on birth control, specifically the Paragard IUD, I do not have kids, but from doing research and calling other Gynecologists' offices there is no limitations as to what IUD I can get. In this case, this Doctor from the very first time I went for my consult was very judgmental about the type of birth control method I was using. But I brushed it off and accepted it wasn't the best method to use, but that's why I wanted to get started and information about the IUD. Moving on, the next appointment I was to attend was to make a decision on which birth control I wanted but I was pretty much set on the Paragard IUD. Then a couple days before my appointment I get a call from CVS that this office had ordered an IUD , but it wasn't the Paragard, but the Skyla IUD Instead. Confused, I called the office and asked why they had ordered that IUD if that's not what I wanted. There answer was they just assumed I wanted that one. Upset I thought to myself well that's weird because wasn't I supposed to go in to decided what form of birth control I wanted, not them. Either way I told them I didn't want that and that, that wasn't very professional of them to decide for me, if I had yet to decide. It really made no sense. Anyways, they apologized and said at my next appointment i would discuss what birth control I was interested in. So I go to the appointment and I already know what I want and the nurse knows what I want so she tells me the doctor will be in shorty and will explain to me the potential risk and a bit more about the Paragard. That did not happen. He came in and from the start said "So your 20yrs old and have never had kids...and yet want the Paragard?" I said yes I do. Then he went on to question why I wanted it. At that point I was bothered because do I really have to explain myself?? Anyways I told him my reasons and yet he still questioned my response and then told me that sometimes we blame our decisions on things that are not really the causes as to why we do what we do. I was angry at this point. Couldn't I just get what I wanted without all the trouble? I understand he's a professional and knows more than I do, but when it comes to the patient they ultimately have a say in what they want. Continuing my story, after he told me his opinion on my reason he looked up and asked once again, so you want the Paragard? Oh man I had to resist being rude, and simply answered yes. Then he went on to asking me if I knew anyone who had it. Which I do, my sister and mother. Then he says to me "yeah, and they have kids right?" And I said yes once again infuriated at this point, because how many times do you have to tell me about the no kids situation. After that he says to me well I'm going to have to give you a call and see if I can put this IUD because usually it's for patients who have had kids. So I'll give you a call. I left so upset and mad, because he never went over the potential risk, nor gave me information about it, he simply judged and questioned my wanting that specific type of birth control. Like I said I had called other gynecologist and they said every patient has freewill as to what they want and you don't have to have kids to get the Paragard IUD. I'm not sure as to why this Doctor gave me so much trouble, but I will no longer continue going here, and I hope next time they stick to there word when they say that the patient comes first and adhere to the patients needs and wants.

The look and feel of Dr. Diazcadena's office is very nice and clean. Everyone i have dealt with at the office is very pleasant and professional!
