Sons of Italy Lodge

This establishment is over 100 years old; it's an Italian American social club, which provides a ton of nonprofit work to benefit the community, and it's a banquet hall somewhere to rent and host functions. The social club offers scholarships for recent high school graduates, and they regularly conduct food drives, clothing drives, etc.. This place is very old school; it's rich in tradition and values, both of which are extremely rare nowadays! Most important, there are two parts/venues to/at this establishment: a Members Lounge and a Banquet Hall. Members' Lodge: It's mostly men, very few women; there's no drama, it's very fun/social, and drinks are cheap. Members can invite guests, and they can use the TVs, Xbox, pool tables, shuffle board, ping pong table, putting green, bocce court, horseshoe pit, etc.. Banquet Hall: It's very nicely done, in a very old school/traditional fashion. The venue is very affordable, comparable to other venues, and the staff is great. Drinks are also very cheap, and they offer a plethora of beer, spirits, etc. The staff won't cook for anyone, including members, but they do allow you to use their kitchen should you need to heat food for your guests. Would I recommend the Weymouth Son's of Italy? Yes, absolutely, but you need to realize there are, essentially, two venues at this address, the members lounge and the banquet hall. Either way, you won't find a better time or a cheaper drink. Salute!
