Took my daughters college backpack in to get the zipper pull out back on. No teeth on the zipper were broken the pull just came off. I specifically showed the lady this when I dropped it off. Was given a quote of $10 on the phone and it ended up costing over $26. When I picked up the backpack the teethed were cut to put the pull back on I was clearly upset and pointed it out. They sewed it so that the pull would not just come right off again. When I called to complain about the substandard work I was told that the owner would call me back and she was sure he would refund me for the trouble. When the owner called back he was not very pleasant and literally told me he did not fix it himself so does not know what it was like. He was not apologetic and said this is how they fix these things. I could’ve cut the teeth myself and done what they did in 10 minutes. Very displeased with the lack of craftsmanship as well as the extreme lack of customer service on the owners part. This was my first time using this company and last. I really wanted to do business with a local Greek business and am really disappointed that I did so. They ruined an expensive college backpack. Highly disgusted with the entire place at this time. Especially since the owner did nothing to try and rectify the situation. Bad business

Stopped in for a repair and came out with a new pair of shoes for my hubby. Staff was so awesome and very knowledgeable on the right running shoe for him. Recommend this place for any shoe and other foot or repairs to leather items

I needed Orthotics and now they can be made at FAKLIS store and be ready quickly. Also bought new shoes and store has great selection. My new shoes and Orthotics are giving relief in foot pain service A+ Thank your for your service and expertise in shoes Thank you too Mike

"We don't currently have your size but I'm ordering it and when it gets in I'll hold it for you to try out first, if you like it great, if not we'll order you something else to try, no deposit or obligation. " Followed by: "These shoes are not a good fit for your feet, I don't feel comfortable selling them to you." It's so rare to find honesty and compassion from someone selling you a product, I loved my experience here and I'm getting my next shoes from them as soon as we figure out which are the best for me.

Awful, had a expensive pair of shoes that the heels were scraped and was told he could repair but would not be perfect. I was ok with that until it took him longer to get them back and they looked like the only thing he did was put paint on them . I would of rather been told that he would not be able to repair them . Plus they changed me for the awful job. Never again.

Top notch! A real shoe repair place!! Took my 30-year-old Harley-Davidson boots in because the soles were coming off cuz of course the glue was way too old! well after educating me, on how I should not leave my shoes in the car and what it does to the leather and the glue she very kindly offered to buff and polish them for me for a very nominal fee! I get a call a week later to pick em up and they look brand new!!! first class service with a smile!! thanks so much! I'll be bringing my cowboy boots in next week!

Wonderful experience. Previous to coming here I had the hardest time finding decent orthopedic shoes that didn't look ridiculous. For the first time in years I was prescribed orthopedic shoes that actually look like normal shoes. Mr Faklis was a delight to work with. One-Stop shopping. You can be prescribed shoes here, order shoes here and have them repaired to make them last a lifetime here. I'll never shop anywhere else.

If you think good old fashioned service is a thing of the past you’ve obviously never been to Faklis Shoes in Tarpon Springs. My husband and I have been coming here for 2 years with a variety of issues. We are always met with kindness and patience by the entire staff and we always leave feeling better than when we walked in. Customers for life!

One stop shop. Need a zipper fixed, something hemmed, socks, shoes and just about anything done with fabric this is the place. Reasonable prices. Small family owned business, knowledgeable staff. Seriously you can't go wrong stopping in to check it out. Support small businesses!!!
