Great local park with pavilions and a concert venue. New playground and exercise area are exciting new additions we are looking forward to opening. Huge new parking lot off of Wile Ave. is a bonus as well. Love to see tax payer money being used for community improvements.
This park is excellent. The pool area looks great. We were there for their annual fireworks. As we waited we got to listen to a talented band at the bandshell. I have seen many displays over the years around the world but their display was one of my favorites. It was set to music and lasted over 20 minutes. A must see
Beautiful park with a ball field and some playground equipment. There’s an amphitheater where they sometimes have community concerts. Also, on a nice afternoon my man Junior will be out flying a HUGE kite so high that you can barely see it. Really nice guy who helped me with my kite too! Did I say it’s a great park for kites? Well it is. Also, there’s a ga-ga pit if that’s your thing.
Great concert, ice cream & terrific fireworks
Great place for Concert Sundaes and fireworks were outstanding. Hopefully a new location can be found for fireworks.
Always a relaxing place to come chill. Just played chess at the picnic tables with a friend while listening to a guy noodle on his ukulele for hours, chatting with the young families playing with their kids. Nice walking path with big old shade trees and a nice pavilion for larger cookouts with friends and family. There's a music stage for shows, sadly I haven't personally seen any yet but thats mostly because I just pop in here on a whim or for meeting friends.
Beautiful community park with a couple winding trails. Community pool directly across the street. Dog-friendly with a couple disposal stations around the park. Nice pavilion with picnic tables. Showed 'Secret Life of Pets' this summer free of charge. Occasionally have live performances as well. Within walking distance to several restaurants and other local businesses.
Souderton is a beautiful town, and this park is a reflection of that same beauty. The gigantic mature trees here provide lots of shade for much of the play area, unfortunately not all of it, especially the swings & climbing equipment. There is a very nice covered pavilion with picnic tables, a water fountain, & hose bib, rentable for gatherings. An impressive bandstand with accompanying green for seating dominates much of the northwestern area. There's even a court for playing "Ga-Ga" a small-court, hit-legs-only kind of dodgeball. It's situated just across the street from the amazing community pool, so if you're peckish during pool hours, you can cross the street to visit the very impressive snack bar it has outside access, so no entrance fee required. If you bring your four-legged friend, remember to scoop, to keep the park beautiful for everyone.
Nice, clean, open environment with a big shed in the center where you can have cook outs or family events. It has a play area for children with slides and swing sets and there's also a stage where concerts are held.
Fun, great space to take kids. There is a pavilion for a picnic along with swings, playground set, sandbox and open feild for activities. It is also next to the Souderton pool.
