Sound Advice Hearing Doctors of Searcy, is a local Audiology practicing providing personal and professional hearing health care. We perform full diagnostic hearing evaluations, fit and service all major brand hearing aids, as well as diagnosis and treat tinnitus. Audiologist Dr. Kevin Tripp, has over seven years of clinical experience. Kevin Tripp was born in Searcy, and grew up in Griffithville, AR. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Communication Disorders from Harding University he entered the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He received his doctorate from UAMS. He worked at Arkansas Otolaryngology Center in Little Rock for nearly 3 years before joining Sound Advice in the Spring of 2011. Dr. Tripp has also served as an adjunct professor in the Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Harding University since 2008. His primary professional interests are aural rehabilitation, counseling and hearing aid fittings. He strongly believes that getting the best possible result requires spending time discussing a patient's specific problems and goals to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Tripp and his wife, Tianna, live near Cabot. They have been married for 9 years and just celebrated the birth of their first child, Kathryn. His favorite time of year is the fall, when you are most likely to find him in a deer stand.
"I'm blessed to be working in a field that I enjoy so much. I'm very passionate about what I do for a living. Helping people with their hearing means they can enjoy living life more. Hearing our family, sounds in nature, enjoying ourselves out in groups, these are things that are important. Too many people just put up with it. You don't have feel isolated or give up activities that you love. Better hearing is possible for most of the people that we work with, and it can make a big difference in a person's life."
