Absolutely beautiful there! We enjoyed the camp and amenities! Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating! What a gem!! We look forward to our next adventure with Sound View!!
I wouldn’t even give sound view a one star… we made 600 dollars for family camping and it wasn’t worth it AT ALL. Friday night we get there… and they didn’t have us down for dinner even though we all individually paid for each meal for the whole weekend!! They were very very short with us when we had any questions. They didn’t have anything planned for us to do that was fun. We had to ask for them to do a arts and crafts project for our kids. The food was just as bad as jail food. I’m not even kidding. Again back to the short answers and unfriendliness… the man who runs sound view was rude and didn’t seem to care to help us with questions. The cartoons they play at night, are the same cartoon on repeat. They owe us money for the missing meals and lack of consistency with schedule and food. WASTE OF MONEY. Playground: No play ground. Restrooms: Not very clean. Dog-friendliness: They do not allow animals. Picnic area: Over grown!
The whole camping property is really peaceful and spaced out. We booked the tent cabins and the cabins exceeded our expectations. The staff around the property is really friendly. The campsite also has bikes and sports equipment available. Would recommend taking your own grill as the common kitchen is occupied by a group and you may not get a chance to use the grill available there. Overall a great experience, would definitely visit again!
Absolutely amazing! They are so kind and have so many activities for the families. The facilities are amazing and tons of room between the RV camp spaces.
We had such a great time here over Fourth of July weekend. The camping area was decent and the cabins were nice. The beach area was great with free access to canoes. We paid for dinners and it was great to not have to plan and pack our own dinner food. They also offer breakfast and lunch too. My kids loves looking at the animals and watching the cartoon outdoors. We didn’t even have time to make it to the crafts and activities they offer. What a great getaway.
This place is amazing! We booked October 10-12, 2020 & we had a great time even when it rained! When we arrived, they gave us a schedule with the time & date of all the activities they have to offer during our stay. We got to feed the mini farm animals, play archery & other games available, they also have a beautiful veggie garden & fresh eggs! The cabin was clean & the bathrooms are very clean. They had firewood in every location so we never ran out. You can also buy & pick up food. Food was delicious! The staff is all very helpful & friendly. They also had cartoons for the kids before bedtime & they have a beach for boating. It’s beautiful! I highly recommend!
They just opened this place for the public and my family and I had a great time staying in one of the agape cabins. It had four bucks and a restroom inside the cabin for only $60 a night, this is such a good deal considering all of the other things that the camp has to offer such as boating, Frisbee golf, farm animals for the kids, hiking trails all around and swimming down at the edge of Puget Sound. We also went down at low tide and looked at some of the sea life on the floor which was also really interesting for the kids. Showers with running hot water we’re nice and near our group of cabins there was even a building with a fridge to store some of our food. I would definitely recommend it and would love to go again as soon as I can
Loved spending the weekend at this beautiful camp. They did a great job converting camp for family/individual camp sites. We stayed at the Bow and Arrow campsite and had lots of space/privacy. Bathrooms were clean and staff were great! We'd definitely stay there again!
Fantastic 100 acre Presbyterian Camp. Children and families! Check it out!
My 9 year old granddaughter Lauryn went to the spring camp session. She had so much fun she didn't want to leave. She learned about some local plants, kyakked, played games, learned archery and had time by the camp fire...Thank you to the wonderful staff for taking care of her and making her first camp one to remember.
