I have sought Christi’s services for a few different conditions including stress and anxiety, chronic ear infections and immune system issues. This most recent round, I decided I wanted to tackle the Covid-induced loss of taste I had been dealing with  for over a year.  In particular, my ability to taste salty and sweet was basically gone. It was extremely annoying in general but was also affecting my ability to properly cook for my family! After ONE session with Christi there was a huge improvement. After 5 weekly sessions, I now have 95% of my taste back. I am so happy and so grateful!  She gave me teachings that I can apply to my daily routine that have continued to help in all areas of my life. I’m about to go into another round with her for another health condition and I’m really excited about the changes I know I’ll see.  I value my sessions with Christi so much as part of my self-care routine. As a healthcare provider myself, it is easy to allow myself to burnout while focusing on everyone else’s needs. Scheduling in weekly sessions and learning techniques from Christi has been essential in maintaining my energy so I can continue to show up for my community.  Thank you Christi! Here I am writing another positive review. In January I returned from Costa Rica with severe exhaustion, headache, wheezing and coughing. Of course it was Friday night. I tried to self treat and was able to get an appointment Monday afternoon with my internist. Chest X-ray, prednisone and antibiotics, and cough syrup.  Round two of drugs, not any better. Roxy called as I had cancelled a routine appointment. I was too unmotivated to get out of bed to go in. BIG MISTAKE. As a retired RN I felt I knew the symptoms could be treated by traditional medicine. I called my internist and he suggested I go to urgent care if I didn’t feel better. I went to Christine and she evaluated, prescribed herbs, treated but also thought urgent care was a good idea for blood work and X-ray. Within a day I could feel the change. I had another treatment and herbs, still feels improvement. I was going on a vacation soon and she didn’t feel I should travel. However if I was going to keep my plans she carefully prescribed some herbs if any signs of relapse. I did well on vacation. Now I’m aware that not only does this type of treatment relieve pain, it should be a way of life. I will continue her prevention protocol and her sick protocol. I will go there FIRST, and attend her prevention seminar. Thanks to Christine I’m recovering from the worst flu symptoms ever. This is a nasty flu. If you have any symptoms call her, don’t wait! I suffered nearly three weeks before I went in.

I had unrelievable upper back pain, 3 cervical discs involved. Pain not relieved with gabepentin or tramadol, physical therapy. Was desperate, went to buy CBD oil and when sales person listened to my symptoms she asked if I believed in Accupuncture. I did and she referred me to Christine. Within a few treatments I was pain free. Both my orthopedic surgeons say if it’s working keep on it. She evaluates my symptoms on each visit and adjusts my treatment. She is also an amazing herbalist and is presently treating my URI symptoms. I sure hope I don’t graduate will continue treatment if only maintenance. The cupping has also proved very effective. Friendly environment, Roxy is very helpful in scheduling and explaining treatments.

From my first session las t year up to today I am in less pain , better mobility and my atrophied leg has gotten stronger. I am a firm believer and solid patient with SOUTH BAY TOTAL HEALTH.
