The market is wonderful but what happened to the Cafe? This review is about the cafe not the market. For 30 years when I come back to my home town I go to the cafe and it's always a great experience. I went yesterday and the first thing I noticed was it was basically empty with only a few customers. I have never been in 30 years without worrying about when we will get a seat. It was always packed with people. Then the menu was much smaller and what used to be a whole board of specials was gone. The soup was the consistency of sour cream and made me feel unwell about an hour later, the omelette was heavy and not good my friend said. The Charm and the fun and the great food and slipping into a community are gone at this cafe and it's sad, because it's been years. It's now a sort of sub standard basic cafe that the waitress boasted to me is now clean because the previous owners were failing she told me. The previous cafe people had it Packed with people for good reason. It used to be an experience and the food was really good in the past. It's very sad. We won't be back to the cafe, but we will still always love the market. I think the reason there were so many empty seats, is because many have decided as I have, the old place is gone, people are no longer waiting for a seat to open because it's so good. It looks like an exodus from the old community who used to love that place. It's a shame. First time in 30 years of visiting once a year, or once every year and a half, that I have had a bad experience and not enjoyed my $40 breakfast for two. You can find many great breakfast places over by Howard park down the road. They changed the ownership obviously without giving any consideration to long standing trademark dishes, and the whole community who loved the place and the service and experience. Now I find myself in a situation where before I even ordered and found out how bad it was, I have the waitress trying to justify the change to me, while I'm looking for the dishes that used to be there, as the "last owners were bad and failing" well I think the last owners did the thing the way that kept me coming back for 30 years, and in one visit the new owners have shown me, there is nothing here for me going forward. It's sad.
Such a great place! Everyone was kind it was super clean and organized! Probably one of the best ones I’ve ever been too!! Thanks for the great service! Keep up the great work!
Ate too quickly to get a photo. The restaurant there is amazing food and amazing service. Will be thinking about the pork chop for weeks to come

Tuesday Thursday Friday come here tuesday for vegies and fruit luv me some watermelon fridays for coffee.. lots of coffee teas and spices. just always a good visit Saturday visit was especially memorable. 10.10 notre dame children choirs singing their little hearts out.
Great place for the whole family. They always have a great selection of vendors - all of which are extremely friendly and helpful. My favorite is this succulent farm with a huge selection of succulents! You can also grab breakfast or lunch from many different vendors.
Went today to buy tomato plants along with other similar salad vegetables. Vendors are very helpful to explain certain vegetables , fruits, and flowers that are not quite commonly found in the big box stores. Having them explain how to plant an officer suggested fertilizations that are organic is very helpful since I am so fond of organic gardening. One lender asked if I wanted a mystery tomato plant haha. Of course I took it. It'll be fun seeing what pops up. Ben's pretzels in the other food vendors are completely awesome. The food is great no matter which Bender are you go to. The place even has a restaurant which is a nice touch where they use local meats fruits vegetables and grains as much as possible depending on the season.
Great place for affordable produce, seedlings for your garden and an awesome breakfast diner
Not all the vendors were there today but we got some good produce. Some of the biggest cantelopes I've ever seen and it is awesome and juicy!
This is my very favorite place to go on a Saturday morning! The restaurant is fantastic and so is the service. The energy and vibe makes you feel like you’re eating in a large dining room with all your friends + family
You can find fresh local produce, meat, dairy products, crafts and many more here. Ample parking. Great selection of onsite cooked food and bakery items. Personally like to buy mashrooms and coffee from here since they have a wide variety. Lots of sweets too.
