The team at this business were so kind and compassionate. We felt like they felt our pain and treated us so kind and gently. They checked with us each night of visitation. So loving and caring. Would definately recommend this business and these people. This was a terrible experience as we weren't expecting to lose Dad but SCFH team made it so much easier. God bless each of them.
So compassionate and professional. Patience and understanding and a complete sense of peace from start to finish with everyone we worked with. They made the hardest thing for our family had to do a lot less stressful. Thank you South Canton.
At the time of my husbands sudden death I didn't think to check on prices for a cremation. They way overcharged me for a cremation ONLY. There was no service either. They charged me $3,000. I later found out the average price for a cremation only is around $795.00.
With all due respect to the people who've lost their loved ones, whoever left less than 5 stars is dumb. They went above and beyond for my family and I. They did WAY more than was required, and were still asking if they could assist further. There's no way I could put into words how grateful I am to the FAMILY at Southside Canton.
I never imagined having to leave in the middle of a funeral service. The preacher, if you want to call him that, screamed himself hoarse about being saved, and if you weren't saved, you're going to hell. Lake of fire and sinners and what not. I was there to celebrate the life of my cousin, not listen to some blowhard who didn't even know him enough to speak about his life. Sadly, Reverend mayo did not seem interested in paying respects, but instead proceeded to yell curses in the name of the Lord, point his fingers and stomp his feet. I was utterly appalled and completely disgusted. I'm sorry my family had to sit and listen to that awful message. There is no love or comfort in that kind of nonsense.
Our families found the staff very professional, & courteous. They have always helped ease the pain of the families being served. Very kind staff, very clean and calmimg atmosphere.
Well maintained building. The staff is very respectful.
