I went to Dr. Kashanchi for dental implants, and they look AWESOME! He listens, cares, is patient and he's professional. The staff is very friendly, and the office is clean. The whole process was easy. I will definitely continue to refer my friends and family.
The support staff is nice, but the dentist is so rude. They dont care if your not happy with the wax mold, they will make the denture still, and force you to take it. I'm stuck with dentures that dont fit correctly and hurt now.
There are few experiences you walk away from and tell yourself, "That deserved a five-star review!" I was fortunate enough to find South Coast Dental Specialists, Dr. Kashanchi in my search for a dentist. He was very patient with me, answered all my questions, he's very professional, caring, meticulous and extremely skilled and passionate about his craft. Dr. Kashanchi is open and honest with the patients and goes out of his way for them. The office was clean, their machinery looked modern and his staff was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as super friendly. I've had several procedures including a deep cleaning, crown and I am in the process of getting an implant. Procedures were performed in a timely manner and were painless! The cleaning was very gentle, the crown looks outstanding and no one I've asked can tell which is the crown. I highly recommend South Coast Dental Specialists and Dr. Kashanchi to anyone! You will be in good hands here!
I spoke with Lorraine, office Manager about receiving a refund for a root canal and crown that was done at South Coast Dental Specialist in November and December of 2015. She said the owner would contact me and never did. One and a half years after the procedure I saw a new dentist who said the x-ray showed sign of infection on the tooth that was treated by a dentist at South Coast Dental Specialist and that I could report the issue to the Denail Board of California if I wished. It was the third root canal and i decided to pass on the detists advice for the retreatment of the tooth. I have a root canal that is over 20 years old and no problems so I hoped the root canal was done correctly from South Coast Dental Specialist only a year and a half ago. Three and a half years after the root canal performed at South Coast Dental Specialist I began experiencing a wierd numbing pain and disgusting, horid smell from my mouth. I went to my dentist in Torrance and she said the tooth was infected. I went to an endodontist the same day and this is what he wrote in his report after the retreatment. "We had the pleasure of having Jesse in our office for his endodontic retreatment. Jesse presented with history of discomfort on the lower left area. Tooth #18 was previously endodontically treated in 2015 in another office. Apical lesions were noted on the mesial and distal roots of #18. Endodontic retreatment was recommended and completed with sponge and cavit. He tolerated the procedure very well. Jesse will need either a permanent occlusal filling or new crown within the next two weeks." Had a gone with a permanent filling after the retreatment, It would have been a huge mistake. The dentist that performed my crown replacement said the crown from South Coast Dental was not applied properly and popped off with no effort. There was decay under the crown and she showed me how the material was falling apart. I contacted South Coast Dental Specialist about a refund. I clearly stated to Lorraine, the office manager, all I am asking for is a refund for the money I spent there. Having to do the retreatment and a new crown cost me close to $2,000 with insurance. I informed Lorraine to inform the owner I do not wish to post a bad review despite having to endure the same painful procedure twice, nor do I want compensation for lost time considering it took 4 visits at South Coast Dental Specialists to complete the procedure. Over one month and I still have not heard back from the owner. I informed Lorraine I will be going to small claims court since it has been over a month and there has been no response from the owner.
The staff lied twice to me the dentist took my dentures for a day cost me thousands of dollars because of their incompetence I had to wait the next day to get my teeth back because of having to wait until 4:30 pm I was stuck in traffic for 4 hours coming home and was rear ended in my Lexus it’s amazing that people lie and aren’t responsible for the trouble they cause please go somewhere else it’s sad that they make so much money for terrible service they don’t even deserve one star minus 5
Do your self a favor and don't go here. This the worst dental office I've ever been to .
