The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Most of us had dim sum, but a friend had a steak that was plated into a sizzling skillet tableside, which looked amazing. I wish I didn't live so far, otherwise I'd be here all the time.Food: 5/5
There are two Manus, one for traditional Chinese food and the other for Americanized Chinese food. All kinds of are free if you dine in thereFood: 5/5
Finally an autentique Chinese food place . Mostly of the dishes are Cantonese style . My favorite dishes was the beef chow fun and of course the ginger scallion lobster. The staff a really polite and receptive. THEY HAVE DIM SUM!!!!
Love this restaurant whenever I get my itch for some good Chinese Food. I’m a pretty plain type of guy when it comes to Chinese food but this place has never disappointed because it also caters to picky eaters like myself. Wether it’s the spring rolls, peppered steak, honey chicken or another dish the food quality is always fresh, delicious and plentiful. Today it was a delivery day but the quality didn’t disappoint. Best part is they have delivery and I don’t think it took longer than 15 minutes before my food arrived. It’s a small restaurant and perhaps not well known restaurant but compared to other larger chain places I’d pick this spot anytime. Trust me if you’re close by and want some good Chinese food give it a try. You won’t regret it. Happy to be a longtime customer and to support our local small business. Keep up the awesome work South Garden.
This is one of the top 2 Chinese restaurants that we eat from. If our family is willing to make the drive about 45 minutes, it's worth the drive. If we want something closer, then we have another go-to place. There food is very good because they are very generous with the ingredients that they use. They don't use tiny pieces of vegetables, but instead use full size pieces of all the variety vegetables in their rice and lo mein. Their vegetable spring rolls are excellent as well. I highly recommend them!
My family has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. We’ve had the best possible experience, customer service is wonderful, and the food quality is beyond amazing. I’ve introduced this restaurant to my family and friends and they all agree that this is the best Chinese restaurant that they’ve ever tried in Miami and compared to other cities and countries around the world. No other restaurant can compare to South Garden’s quality! I highly recommend the soy sauce pan fried noodle and wonton noodle soup!
We LOVE going to this place for a special celebration! The food is authentic we're from Asia!, and the service is world-class and friendly. We train guide dogs for the blind / veterans with disabilities South Eastern Guide Dogs, great experience for training, and the owners are very welcome Food: 5/5
This place is so comforting and my go to spot for traditional Chinese food. I’m a fan of dim sum and this place delivers. The portions are big, they menu has a lot of options and the flavor is there. I didn’t try any seafood, but the chicken and pork options were yummy.
My dad swears by this place. Its basically the only Chinese Restaurant that he likes these days. Also, their food is legit delicious, so he's not wrong. Dim sum is great too.Food: 5/5
I live very close to South Garden and I was hoping to have found an authentic chinese restaurant next door which would be the dream! but instead have had hit or miss experiences here. I came for dinner alone already knowing that I wanted duck, but was interested in looking at their dim sum menu. For dinner, they only have a small section of dim sum where everything costs $3.95 which is not a bad price for what was on it. I wanted to order and eat as I go which I often do at other restaurants but the server there was pretty insistent that I order everything at once and kept taking the menu away when I wasn't done looking at. I ordered the chicken rice soup as a quick appetizer and as a way to ease my hunger. I was surprised by how tasty it was and they definitely don't skimp out on the chicken with huge pieces throughout. I thought to myself at the time that I would definitely come back for this the next time I catch a bad cold or am sick. I had ordered the soup, chicken feet, and the shrimp/scallop dumplings as appetizers from the dim sum menu but instead immediately got the half duck after my soup which bothered me a bit since I didn't receive the rest until I was almost done eating. The duck was definitely the star of the meal and a half is only $13.85 which I was very happy about. It was a huge platter-----the duck was cooked perfectly not overdone and the exterior was nice and crispy. YUM! In general, I'd come back for the duck only and order it out or share it with someone. I also remember coming a time before this where they had a large dim sum menu at lunch so I would think about coming back for lunch. IG: @KFitzEats
