Currently P.A.L has two very successful programs, The Therapeutic Horseback Riding and the Girls Empowerment Project. The Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program works with Dream Catcher Of Los Angeles providing underprivileged children with horseback riding lessons. Through these lessons the children develop leadership skills, responsibility, and horseback riding skills.
The Girl Empowerment Project focuses on teenage girls in our local High Schools. This program encourages young women to develop a plan for their future by providing a field trip to a local Cal State University, Attend a career planning conference, Volunteer at a local senor facility and weekly meetings with guest speakers who discuss various careers and opportunities. Aside from this, we also provide fitness classes, Art therapy and self defense lessons.
