These guys are the best from the front desk staff, to the hygienists, the LB Star and Dr Balikyan himself… I have been a patient there for 13 years… I lived around the corner in Pasadena… last year I moved to HB so longer drive… and I wouldn’t give up south lake dental for anyone…. They are awesome! They are understanding and careful with their touch, gentle and caring… The Dr. Listens to your concerns and doesn’t try to sell You stuff / services you don’t need… I love them!!

In my adult life I've been to about a dozen Dentists. Dr Mike is the best I've seen. They accommodate me easily. He's careful and methodical. He's patient and patient centric not trying to pump through a high volume of clients. Got lucky with Dr Mike and staff.

The whole staff is very friendly and everything is done fast and efficient. If you have any questions about maintaining your dental hygiene, they are more than happy to give you tips and what products they use or recommend. Overall, this place is fantastic!

South Lake Dental is my go-to dentist office right in the middle of Pasadena. I always get top-tier treatment from all their staff. Ana is my regular dental hygenist and she always gives me the absolutely best preventative treatment I’ve ever received. Billing personel is great my whole family goes there now and I always look forward to seeing Amber’s smiling face greeting me every time :. Thanks so much South Lake Dental!

I usually dread the 6 month dental cleaning because I have really sensitive teeth, but Hilda took care of me today and I had a truly great experience with her. I feel like she really listened to my concerns and took her time to ensure she didn’t cause me any discomfort. Thanks Hilda!

I love South Lake Dental and Dr. Balikyan! He truly is the best! I recently moved out of the area, more than 40 miles away, I could go to a closer dentist but he’s worth the trip. Dr. B and SLD are the best!!!
