Great Place to go exploring and hiking. Its big enough to get lost in a good way. Many places to discover like fat man's pass or the natural tunnel or just the critters of wild life. It also offers horse back ridding and a ranch to explore, shoot videos or photos too.Visited onWeekdayWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Beautiful place to go for a evening walk/weekend hike/morning hike. There was a lot of wildflowers in the mountains. Super easy hike. We went to the top with our one year old baby. I didn’t know this place was so close to my home. I would definitely go there again.
Great time horseback riding with Arizona Horses Company. Lots to see as far as a desert goes. Would recommend.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+

First time here and just stopped by because I was in the area. I wanted to take a look to see how dog friendly it was. Saw plenty of hikers with their fur babies and even a gentleman on his horse. Many different trails to choose from. Plenty of parking. I'll be returning to explore more with my pup. Whether you want to hike or mountain bike this is the place with beautiful scenery all around. I'm glad it's nearby where I live as I'll be frequenting here now to get my desert Zen. Restrooms: Clean and well maintained, unisex, individual stalls with locking doors Dog-friendliness: Keep your fur friends on a leash, pick up after them and they'll continue to allow us to share the trails with our best friends
Love this place and the views. Be careful on the rocks! I could come here everyday and see either sun rise or set
It was a nice free drive. We went there to find a big cactus easy to take a picture of. Nice stops. Be mindful of the small road. They mean it when they say drive slow with traffic coming both ways.Wait timeNo wait
I love this park! Such a large open area with several miles of different trailheads for every type of fitness level. I enjoy mountain biking here. Very busy at times but friendly people everywhere. Get out there!
I love this specific park. It has a few different trails. The one I hike I wouldn’t necessarily say is good for bike riding because of all of the rocks but it is a nice place for an early morning hike while the air is still fresh. It is a pretty steep hike, but I love it. I’m not sure of the surrounding trails because I haven’t hiked them.. There’s quite a few people that hike this trail and area most of the time, so it’s not exactly lonely.. but I would recommend going with at least one friend because it does extend pretty far away from help if you needed it. If you had to scream even other hikers may not even hear you depending on the distance you were apart. Make sure to take plenty of water because the heat warms it up pretty quickly. I would recommend a thermos cup and a light backpack to carry your important items. The view is gorgeous and it’s so serene and peaceful on the trail and once you reach the top. Enjoy.
We've hiked here twice now. The trail we were on today was really nice. The trail was interesting because it twisted, curved, went up, and down. The scenery was nice and green which I know will turn brown later and the cacti were flowering. It was a nice hike. Restrooms: The restrooms are great for a trail! They have flushing toilets, you can wash and dry your hands, there are mirrors.
