South Park Elementary School is one of four high-achieving elementary schools in District 109. South Park serves students in pre-k (in its unique Helping Hands Preschool) through grade 5.
Students from South Park Elementary School (along with Wilmot Elementary School students) feed into Caruso Middle School. South Park has an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) whose volunteers help plan events, enrichment programs and fundraisers to support the teachers, students and school community.
District 109's mission is to provide educational experiences of the highest quality that engage, inspire and empower each student to excel and contribute in a changing world.
The South Park Elementary School Facebook page informs parents, staff, and community members about our achievements, events and activities. Information posted from District 109 will be direct, open and honest; we hope comments posted on the page will be respectful, factual and constructive.
Personal insults against any individual will be deleted, as will posts that violate the privacy of others or Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. Examples include unauthorized commercial solicitations; posts that bully, intimidate, or harass; content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or contains violence; or any post that is unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory. If more than one post by the same individual must be deleted, the District reserves the right to block that individual from the page.
