South Paterson Public Library

Nice people. Wish they had indoor parking for bikes or locks. Came with my bicycle and they would not let me park inside for an hour to use the library. The tables and chairs are very old. They need to either paint and reglue the old ones or replace them. Would encourage more seating.

What a great library i really liked the kids area , full of books and knowledge also the people there are just amazing , the front desk madam was so kind and asked my niece and nephew what kind of books they like to read so she can prepare for them some books and activities for the next time and she actually did when we went back two days later she was waiting for us and gave them what they like

I went there to work with my laptop there, parked my car to library’s parking lot. Security was very friendly, told me I can only use library computer for 30min. and only one hour I can stay inside. And he said the parking lot only for employee and police there were 3 empty spots. So yea, I left bc I was planning to work for hours. Anyway, these are the things you should know about this place. I believe they have their own reasons to put these rules, not the safest area

The staff here are AMAZING!! They are so friendly, nice, respectful, and etc. I just don't like when they close for lunch on Saturday's because it is so peaceful that day. The reason is they close because they are short on staff and they need more people. Other than that I must say this library is clean and excellent service. These bad reviews are mostly fake because if you come here you will see how or what I said is true.

Aren't Library's suppose to be quiet? This one is by the far the complete opposite! That's not the only problem with this Library either! Such unpleasant Librarians who give you the dirtiest looks and smartest most rudest remarks when you are having trouble picking out specific books. NEVER come here

Library was great, it has a decent selection of books with very helpful staff. Parking is hard to find.

I must say the staff here are so friendly. I like the Librarian over there which her name is Marilda Malave. She is the best. She helps me find books and assists me whenever I need help. When ever I need help with the computers there is this nice young man who is extremely brilliant in them and he guides me on how to use even though I bother him so much.

Is there any way to complain about this library??? because the staff are HORIBLE and they close everytime they like to and kick everybody right away !!! and its not only that the staff are annoying not helpful at all rude ignorant and they talk loudly and laugh as crazy !!! just waoo

The staff are annoying and continue to be selfish, unfair, and obnoxiously loud. Do not come here unless u have to. Most likely u will be kicked out for just dropping a pin!

Why it close so early why !!!! If we have school how we can go there please try to close like 7 o’clock because we don’t have time because we have school try to clise 7oclock please
