Dr. Rasheed and his team are great! I'd lived with Chronic pain for 20 yrs. Since I have lived in South Tx, I have seen a couple of different pain management doctors. Dr. Rasheed has been the only Dr. that has been able to work with my business scheduled. Dr. Rasheed is the best Dr. I have seen it in 20 yrs and not just in South TX.
Doctor is good, but some of the staff isn't. I deal with chronic pain and while getting ready for a procedure , I overheard two females talking about me so bad while I was behind a curtain like I was a few feet away. The lady who gives IVs has super long nails you could see stuff underneath and bruised me so many times. After completing a series of treatment, the doctor suggested more treatments for my pain, but I couldn't do it simply because of the how badly the staff talked about me. Completely unprofessional. They aren't military friendly. If you are needing documentation for military purposes, do not go here.
Dr. Rashid has horrible bed side manners . You are getting paid very well to see and treat us patients. At least act like you like your job. While his staff is very friendly and helpful. He is very unprofessional, rude , sarcastic, egotistical, and dismissive. Only seen him 3 times . The last two times he was very rude and all the above. Long story short he discharged me from the office just cuz he asked me if the “one & only” ! Injection worked. I was honest and said no. Right away he went on a power trip and dismissed me and said “ well i cant help you then ,you need to go somewhere else…!” From what his staff informed me from me asking, it can take several treatments for me to see/feel a difference. They only got to inject my right side . He didn’t even bother to wait and try my left. Its like he looks at you and passes pre-judgement. Yes i am young. Doesnt mean i am not in severe pain. Mri results dont lie. When i try and state what his staff informed me he rudely interrupts and says “ IDC WHAT THEY TOLD YOU, i am telling you!” Like wth , its not like i can call you up directly and ask you. Hes lucky me & my husband remained calm and respectful. Better one idiot than three. Just goes to show money or a degree can’t buy you respect, common sense , or human decency. Horrible excuse for a “so called Dr”. Save your time and money , dont go here .
While my review isn't mainly based on my personal experience overall, this is meant to be a warning and caution towards others seeking care at this facility. Despite all the past negative reviews I've read about this clinic, the experience sadly was just as bad. Starting with the other patients, I felt really bad for them all. The waiting room was way to overcrowded for one, that even some had to wait in their cars just because there wasn't enough room to occupy everyone. Another thing was the horrible wait times other patients had mentioned for their experience just that day. While I can't tell my own waiting time period, since I decided to leave without finding out, other patients had been there since the morning, and were still waiting to be seen. The average time people told me that they were waiting so far was 3-4 hours alone, which that's ridiculous. Most patients at my time of arrival were elderly, and some were even fastening for a certain exam to be done, yet it was already early afternoon while they were waiting to be called in. Lastly, I could tell that some of the patients, were in genuine pain. How can a medical health professional facility have people waiting, especially the elderly, wait for so long while they're in so much pain? That's almost suffering in my opinion, and while my own personal issue wasn't as bad as some others, I just had a lot of sympathy for the patients attending here. Now as far as my own experience, I didn't get to see everything, but from what I had to go through, was enough for me to walk out. First, there seems not to be enough staff to assist patients at the help desk, because when I arrived, there was a long line to even be checked in. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I was advised to fill out some paperwork, which of course that's normal for any medical office. However, how can there be so much more paperwork for an office visit than going to a hospital, is beyond me. Over 20+ pages I had to fill out, and many of the questions were repeated. I understand that the office needs our information on why attending there, but this is for managing pain, not a health reality check. Of course, since it was so many pages, I didn't even bother to read everything, because who would for that amount to fill out, but after submitting the paperwork, I asked if I could wait in the car, which I was allowed to. However, the last straw for me personally was, when I was told to have a COVID-19 test done, because it was apparently office procedures. Now I didn't mind getting the test done, especially since I'm an advocate for safety and health during this time. However, why would they have barely let a patient know about a COVID-19 test after an hour filling out the paperwork? That doesn't make sense at all. I have realized this office is actually a public rapid testing center, which of course the more patients they take the test, the more funds will be provided. So from what I can infer, the only reason why every patient that are actually seeing the doctor needs a test done, is because to raise up their public numbers. If they really needed it as an office procedure, why not administer the test before you even walk into the building in the first place, and not give the patient a surprise after an hour of filling the paperwork? From there, I decided I know how my experience was going to be for the rest of the visit, so I just left. The only positive I'll say about my visit, despite being short staffed, the receptionists were actually kind and respectful towards me. But as a message to those who get referred to this practice, please do look at other options if it's available to you. Not saying this is a bad experience to get treated as I didn't go far into my visit for that, however I feel that this office needs more staff, better scheduling, and actually triage those who need the support immediately, and not having to wait for so long just to get seen/treated. As a health profession, it's important to give the reliable and quality of care a patient needs, yet this office isn't prioritizing that.
Worst doctors office ever if you can’t even call it that people here are so disorganized, but really want to take advantage of your insurance for as many procedures as possible they will go to town on your insurance. Be careful office manager, he is extremely rude and it’s his way or the highway. This office has no compassion for their patients. You are just another $$$$$ sign to them.
Very short wait time my mom got injections on her back. She felt great afterwards and still feels awesome.
I have been a patient of his for about 2 years. Yes the wait time in crazy but i have had good experiences until today when i went for follow up and refill on pain meds and he refused me saying i am seeing like 10 doctors when i have 3 plus therapy. Wanted to do injections but not refill my meds. I walked out. At this moment I will not return. I will lay in bed and cry 24/7 instead of basically being called a liar.
If the Dr. actually had any respect at all for his patients he would take all possible actions to eliminate such overwhelming NEGATIVE response. Because he has not taken actions to correct after years of negative ratings his respect for his patients is obvious.
Great doctor. He is only one doctor so you will have to wait to be seen. The majority of people complaining are hooked on opiods. If you abuse your medication you will become dependent. Please do not blame Dr.Rashid for your addiction.
They don't even deserve a star .bunch of incompetent in this office. The schedule my mother twice. To get here and for them to tell us r appointment was not scheduled.. this is not right we did almost an hour drive for nothing. Imagine the mistakes the do with appointments. Imagine them doing something to ones love ones . They screw appointments. I wonder what else they screwed. They should be professional. Not incompetence.
