I marvel at the care and consideration this Southborough Rural Cemetery is provided. Every visit to MA I go to this cemetery where I have family buried. I have never seen anything vandalized, remembrances left by loved ones removed or anything negative. I realize it takes extra time to move things when mowing etc. and try to keep things in places not to obstruct the grounds keepers way but when there is something in their way they remove it and mow then replace as nearly as they can to the area it was set. You would think everyone buried here had families so rich that they could afford the price for a commercial business to do unkeep. The place always seems a place of grace and we know that even after we are gone our loved ones will be treated with respect and kindness. Thank you! As you can tell these pictures were taken different years and seasons. The lambs their Grandma Butch put on are still there and I know she is in heaven with a grandson on each knee smiling. She collected owls so owls of some form are put on every year to show her continued presence and love. Thank you so much Southborough, MA
My father has been buried there sense 1982 my grandmother is buried with him she's been there sense 1996. My father worked there as a teenager with his friend. His friend father ran the cemetery. I don't know there names but my dad name is Fred Ingrando and my grandma name is Virginia Ingrando. The spot they have over looks the lake. It's kept up great.
I can't tell you how many times I have either planted something or left something at my Dad's grave only to go back and have it either completely removed or completely destroyed. I don't understand why? I look at other peoples grave sites and they are beautiful. Now, I am afraid to plant or leave anything anymore, which is very sad, because I deserve the right to plant or leave special items just like everyone else. :
Bridget is the best!! This cemetery is the nicest, most comforting place to rest your loved one. The cemetery is manicured as if everyone there is Royalty. Thank you, Bridget for all you do. Lisa Breault on behalf of Firman/Gould/Enquist family
