Southeast Iowa Regional Airport is a public use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) southwest of the central business district of Burlington, a city in Des Moines County, Iowa, United States. It is owned by the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport Authority which includes representatives from the city of Burlington, the city of West Burlington, and Des Moines County. The airport is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline, a service which is subsidized by the federal government's Essential Air Service program at a cost of $1,917,566 (per year). As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 2,645 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 1,986 enplanements in 2009, and 2,821 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a non-primary commercial service airport (between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements per year).
