Beautiful cemetery grounds, you can visit grave sites sun up to sun down 365 days a year, get there before 1200 hrs and get a treat listening to electronic chimes.
No words can adequately describe the experiences I've had. I came to get my dad's flag folded and was scheduled to pick it up after the weekend. Unfortunately, I had to leave the state for a funeral, but when I came back, Wendy had my father's flag not only folded, but placed inside the shadow box I left there and had taken photos of the officers folding his flag. Not only that, but she had been able to get information on what medals he received. She was able to help me piece together my Father's story. I will never forget her and how she went above and beyond to help me honor my dad. Thank you..
My dad is resting there. It's a gorgeous, peaceful area. They play all the military songs from each branch at noon every day. There is a bell that rings once for every hour until noon, when the songs play.
The Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery is a fantastic place. It lies in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Huachuca Mountains and is extremely well-run and well-maintained. I've found it to be a great place to spend a little quiet time reflecting on those heroes who have served our country.
Very well maintained area. Easy to locate my friend using their computerized system there. A very nice man who perhaps is its director, even came out to ask if we needed help. He answered our questions about the cemetery and all. Truly a nice facility .
It's beautiful there. My dad is laid to rest there. I miss him so much
My grandfather was placed there in February. Very nice area and very organized.
Emmett Kelly Jr. the famous clown who retired to Tombstone, Arizona is buried here.
Beautiful and serene. Parents final resting place.
