An awesome 3 days experience during my Birthday Weekend at The Southern Charm Lodging Bed and Breakfast! Believe me the name of this B&B definitely describe the host, Ms. Cathryn "Cat" and Mr. Dentist, they have the warmest and fun southern personalities topped with extraordinary southern delicious cooking! Our Victorian Southern Suite reminded me of my grandmother southern home! We were so comfortable. We met some great people during breakfast who were guest at the lodge three lodges on this property. My daughter and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend a stay at The Southern Charm Lodging Bed and Breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX

Our stay at southern charm was a disappointment to say the least. The bathroom was not cleaned properly with prior guests’ hair all over the floor and toilet seat. This trip was planned by my husband for a surprise birthday trip for me. We have a son and prior to our arrival I was unaware about the no children’s policy. We made sure our son was respectful of the room and other guests in the vicinity. When he began to cry or make noise we made sure to comfort him so it was not constant and disrupt other guests. When we arrived to breakfast with our son, the owners husband spoke very disrespectfully to us about our son. He was extremely rude about our child being present. It was so upsetting we had to leave that day. We had another night booked but we could not stay after being treated so horribly. It was overall a very disappointing experience.

We had 2 couples, and rented both rooms of the Harrison House, which has two bedrooms, each with their own bath, and a shared space for hanging out. We had a wonderful stay. Kat is a fantastic host, with plenty of information on the local areas and people, as well as her own stories. The breakfasts were INCREDIBLE, and the location is extremely close to main street and attractions. There is an enclosed 4 person hot tub, too. They are opening a larger property soon, so it will be great to stay there at sometime. We'll definitely be back!!

I want to start this by apologizing on behalf of the place they stayed at, Karyzza Cavazos we were next to y'all after reading your review. and I just want to say you are doing wonderful, nothing bothered us in the slightest. I'm sorry you guys had a aweful experience and they were mean to you. Thought I wrote a review and didn't so here it is. We booked our stay for 2nights and stayed 1 it was kind of odd the whole thing and not very comfortable. As soon as we got there we realized our room was apart of a communal gathering room and that we had no control of the thermostat in our room. The bed was gross the room was gross. We left the very next morning no breakfast which you have to eat with a group of people. Not my thing ;. They called me when I left and asked if it was because of the baby next-door to us we said absolutely not! Anyways this place is not a vibe at all. We went to a local Hilton where we could be comfortable.

True to its name! Very cozy. We stayed at Clara's cabin and its a perfect home away from home. Comfortable bed and very well decorated. Its an outdoorsy cabin feel, very tastefully done. Breakfast was fantastic and home cooked by Kat the owner. There aren't many B&B's that actually cook and she does an amazing job. Its a private cabin with a garden area including a private full sized hot tub. It has covered parking also. I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for the perfect honeymoon get away this is your spot. Seriously, look no further! The owners are friendly and have gone the extra mile to ensure you've got everything you might need. A rare jewel.

This was our first time to stay at a bed and breakfast, it was fantastic!! The Sienna Suite was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable and accommodations were great. Felt right at home. The instructions left were detailed and easy to follow on the ins n outs of our stay. We had breakfast Friday and Saturday morning cooked by the owner's granddaughter....wow! Great way to start our day. Excellent food! Peach n pecans Belgian waffles and plantation shortbread! It was right off main st, so a quick walk to all the shops! We will definitely be back again!

This is definitely a place I would recommend to any couple looking to visit Texas wine country. Be prepared for a couple of rules not customary at standard chain hotels. We stayed in the cabin and it was SO lovely. You walk past a beautifully painted wooden gate and into your own little world. Everything is beautifully decorated. We really can't say enough, you will have to go stay and experience this for yourself. They are so close to Main Street and we were able to enjoy the town more during our short visit due to the convenient location. The breakfast was filling and delicious, homemade gourmet. Mrs. Harrison is a great cook and overall hostess!

We stayed at Southern Charm bed and breakfast in December, we stayed in "Clara's Cabin". Even though the temperature outside was 30 degrees we stayed warm and comfy in the cute cabin and the extremely comfortable bed. The cabin has an interesting Native American decor. We really enjoyed the hot tub also! The proprietor, Kat, cooked us a very tasty breakfast.

I was very disappointed by the lack of interest and honesty of the owner. One of the reasons we booked at this B&B was because of the promised great breakfast. A week before the date Kat emailed and said they weren't doing the breakfast, but would give us vouchers instead because at the restaurants we'd be 'safer' because we could social distance there. First of all, the restaurant was packed and we did not feel safe at all and secondly, the voucher was for only $8.00 and a decent cooked breakfast at the restaurant, with coffee, tax and tip, came to double that, so we ended up having to pay around $30.00 extra in total. If I'd known this before, I would have gone to another B&B that actually DID provide the promised great cooked breakfast. I reached out to Kat by email a few days ago, but she has not responded. So, very disappointed and will not be going back again!

Stayed in the Sienna room. Can’t recommend. Bed was uncomfortable. My Husband and I kept rolling into the big dip in the middle of the mattress. The worst was the shower. It’s about the size of a cruise ship shower. I really wonder if it’s even usable for larger people. On the good side, it’s a great location just off Main Street. And the coffee was very good.
