At Southern Coast Gymnastics, we are currently offering recreational and preschool gymnastic classes for both girls and boys ages 3 years old and up. Our kid gymnastics program classes are offered for girls and boys 3 and 4 years old. The girls gymnastics classes are offered for girls 5+ and the boys gymnastics classes are offered for boys 5+. For those only interested in tumbling we offer various levels of tumbling classes for ages 5 and up.
Southern Coast utilizes a program to reward your child’s accomplishments. Our program provides the kids with star stickers, certificates and pictures with their instructors, and parents see how the program not only teaches gymnastics, but increases self confidence, self-esteem and gives their children valuable goal setting skills.
By providing clear goals for each student, this non-competitive teaching system helps students to define success as self-improvement! Without having to compare themselves to others in their class to assess how they are doing, the students can all feel like winners!
For our families with toddlers we have created a Tiny Tot program for children 24 to 36 months. This class is 45 minute class including the parents to help assist their child. This program helps to develop the child's developmental and physical skills for their future activities. This is a great program for toddlers and is offered Monday through Friday.
Our Pre-Team girls program at Southern Coast is invitational only. This class is 4 hours a week and is offered to gymnasts who have completed girls level 3 in our girls recreational program. This program is a stepping-stone for gymnasts looking to progress to our competitive girls gymnastics team.
Our competitive gymnastics team program at Southern Coast is invitation only. Kids who show desire, hard work, and dedication in their recreational class will be invited into our gymnastics team program. You must be at least 6 years old or older to participate in our team program. Our competitive team program is organized by USA Gymnastics with our gymnasts training at the USAG national level. Southern Coast's Elite Hurricanes are our competitive cheerleading program that is offered to girls and boys ages 5-18. We have two team that make up the Elite Hurricanes. We offer a “Free” no obligation trial class to New Students, the trial class is intended to allow the potential student to get a feel for the program offered and allows the coach to recommend which class would best benefit the student according to gender, age, maturity level and skill level.
