I was just in the store earlier this afternoon and had a bad experience so I was considering leaving a review. I came to google to see if anyone else has a similar experience and after seeing the replies from the business on bad reviews, I definitely won’t be shopping here anymore. I was at the back of the store, holding a few items that I was planning to purchase. The owner of the store came in and began loudly and somewhat rudely speaking to/training her employees. She was so loud and aggressive that my mom, who I was on the phone with at the time, asked if everything was alright. After a few minutes of listening to this “training” I chose to put the items I was holding back and leave the store. It made me uncomfortable to listen to someone speak so poorly to their employees and as a customer, it ruined my shopping experience. I have worked in retail before and when we were floor training, if a customer came in, we stopped. This obviously isn’t the policy of southern honey. It’s sad that I no longer can shop at a store I have been a customer of for 5+ years. Whoever the owner is needs to do better - your training on how poor door greetings lose customers just lost you one.
I love seeing Dottie every 6 weeks like clock work. She is very good at her job and she makes me feel like family. She did all of my family hair for my parents 50th anniversary.
VERY disappointed. My husband came in Mother’s Day weekend to purchase several dresses and a gift card, spending several hundred dollars. One of the adorable items was a lilac short dress that had a small tear in the front of it in the crease. He didn’t notice it when purchasing. I wore it this week to an event and the tear was pointed out by someone who noticed it while I was wearing it. I didn’t have the ability to leave the event and drive 45 minutes to return it. They we’re closed at that time anyhow. We were leaving town this week for business and we stopped by there to pick out several items I’d had my eyes on and simply exchange the dress for the exact same one. And they refused to even exchange it. Only offering a 10% discount if I’d purchase another one. This is NOT how you handle business at all especially given I drive 45 minutes to support this business as well as my teen girls do. We have spent hundreds of dollars here and very disappointed this was handled this way.
Apparently being a continuous customer here does not matter Due to holidays and working OT I did not have time to return an item for my mom for store credit mind you, nothing is having to happen in the expense of the store other than having someone who stand at the front on their phone having to do something else for that time being when I tried to explain it didn't matter take in a few of those days they were closed but that didn't matter and I am now stuck with something no one in my family wants instead of trying to make ppl happy for the holidays and letting me exchange it out for other things AND THEN SOME they lost out on a big sale I was only 3 days past the apparent mark Will not be returning
Super cute stuff! Staff not very friendly to me but...I'm probably not their target customer...still I had money to spend. Being the only customer in the shop, you would think I could get a little friendliness. Taking my money somewhere else. .
I love Southern Honey Boutique!! They have the best clothes and the girls who work there are so nice! I have had nothing but great experiences with this shop : Highly recommend.
I love, love, love this boutique. The clothes are cute, cute, cute. This shop is adorned with crafty ideas that prompt your senses to buy, buy, buy. The merchandise is upbeat, modern, a little edgy in a good way, fun, creative, and down right desirable. Jewelry, clothes, handbags, and much more. Nothing there is something you can find in common chain stores, all items are original.
I purchased an item online and was going to be in town for parents weekend so i decided to return at the store front. I live two hours away. I was told I had to mail it or they could give me a store credit. They would not refund my money. I was within my 7 days.This store does not want any returns basically. There was no where on the instructions saying you cannot return to store front. They have lost a customer. BUYERS BEWARE look very carefully you only have 7 days to return online items to get you money back & 14 days for store credit. I will never buy from them again.
love the clothes! Customer service is awesome.. ordered online and they accidentally sent me the wrong size but the manager took care of it no problem received the right size within like 2 days and no extra cost. Definitely recommend this place!
I spent over $500 in this place. I shouldn't have but the clothes are too cute! The customer service on the other hand has been terrible every time I've gone. The only time someone spoke to me is when I was dressed up with my makeup done. I reviewed on the fb page but of course they blocked me from doing anything except sharing their post. I definitely won't be going back. I can spend my money elsewhere. Who wants to be in such a judgmental atmosphere while trying to enjoy shopping.
