First time at the salon … Samantha did a phenomenal job- I am beyond pleased!!! Cute salon, friendly staff!!! Love it!!!

I loved the people here! It's a beautiful shop, the women are as funny and friendly as it gets! Sadly my hair is severely damaged. I went in to an appointment for color correction. Black with uneven green and blue undertones, and some grown out blonde roots near my face. I am so so so sad to be writing this review because I really did have such a fun time here, but it's been about a week the green has already poked through, my hair didn't look at all how my example picture did, and the damage is terrible. I just wanted a natural reddish brown. my example picture was black and brown and I walked out with ash blonde highlights, the foil was on my hair for so long my hair became like elastic hair ties and was completely white, it began to break off and fall out. I knew when I saw this that it wasn't good. My hair was in pretty good condition despite all of the dye, even the super sweet woman doing my hair said so. I left with fried hair, Walmart bleach fried, half a head black and green, and half blonde, red, and brown. I had hoped because I'm supposed to have a second session, but after realizing all of the damage I don't think I'll be returning, which is very sad, because as previously stated, the atmosphere and women are amazing! This was the day after, anything blonde/red is now yellow/green

Hair was first colored and cut. A week later a perm. Ruined my hair. It's very dry, damaged, split ends, etc. It should have been permed, then later colored if she didn't have the type perm that can utilize both a perm and color, then cut.Services: Perms

Called in for a hair appointment today and was took in right away. Samantha did an amazing job cutting my hair and sent me home with beautiful curls! She was so sweet and held a conversation with me the entire time. Over all great experience in the cutest shop!Service: Haircut

I'm amazed at what Samantha did to my hair. You would never know I had bleach in it, it feels so soft. The color is natural and exactly what I wanted. It was just us and since my hair is such a process, 3 hours for a full highlight... It was really nice to relax and get away from my 3 kids. See y'all in September!Service: Hairstyling

I was referred here by a friend when I needed a new “hair person” and I’m so happy I found her! It’s been almost a year I’ve been coming here and wouldn’t change a thing! I did have to wait for my first appointment but it was totally worth it! I feel she takes the perfect amount of time and attention my hair needs every time! I love leaving here feeling my absolute best and getting so many compliments on my hair. They’re always adding cute decor to the salon and I love their matching accessories they have for purchase! Anytime someone asks, I recommend Southern Roots!

I went along with my wife for her first hair appointment here. The stylist I believe her name was Josie was a very competent thorough methodical and very nice and friendly young lady! My wife will recommend my stepdaughter to her and if anybody reads this review please inquire for this young lady she is just starting out and I'm sure she would enjoy more contacts with more clientele!

Samantha was wonderful. She takes the time, is very knowledgeable, creating fantastic results.

Over the moon happy with this salon and Heather in particular. She went above and beyond to give my daughter her highlights for her bday/back to school gift and did an amazing job. Have already recommended her to several people and will continue to do so! Thank you Heather for all you did. Can't wait to come back!
