We are a group of students who enjoy and want to learn more about the art of blacksmithing and to keep this art alive in our modern day.
We are a small student-run club on the campus of Southern Adventist University that started out as a hobby of a faculty member, who was then able to make it into a class. After the class had run out of students, it was converted into a club and now boasts of 15-20 members. We work together to make tools, and decorative items to student and non-student members. We all learn and teach one another different techniques and projects to grow our base of skills and knowledge so that everyone can participate.
We are a local blacksmithing club which seeks to keep the art and history of blacksmithing alive by teaching and learning new ways to work and create with metal.
