After this week's routine checkup and cleaning, I'm reminded why Southlake is the best dental practice I've ever used. Hygienist Alyssa was thorough, professional and pleasant. And, as always, Dr. Yura reviewed my history, thoroughly checked my dental health and offered interesting and fun conversation. Love this place!

My hygienist is Mai and she is great - very gently yet thorough; professional and friendly. And I've always been a fan of Dr. Tampoya - I've been going to him for years. He's kind and great at giving shots - almost pain free!

Dr Yura is the best. On Friday night I had an abscess and was leaving the country for 10 days on Tuesday. Thought I would have to cxl my trip. I was able to reach him that night and get meds and he did a root canal first thing Monday morning. I could not have asked for better treatment.

Everyone is always super nice and friendly and efficient. My hygienist Samantha was great, gentle and cared how the cleaning felt. Dr. Tampoya is always timely and kind as well. Check in, out and the cleaning are all great experiences.

Southlake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry was recommended to me by my son who has been highly satisfied with this practice for over 10 years for himself and his family and I'm so glad he did! Dr. Yura and his staff is friendly, courteous, patient and caring from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out. I felt comfortable with Dr. Yura who took time to discuss my options and then did a great job solving my dental issue all the while being concerned that I wasn't experiencing any pain! Then I received a follow up call the next day to check up on me and I was glad to report that I was doing great! I highly recommend this practice!

I had a tooth extraction scheduled and was super nervous! From the moment I walked into the door I was made to feel I was part of their family. Kind, courteous staff and a very caring and thoughtful dentist! Dr Yura made the experience as good as he possibly could. I came back a week later and had a bunch of other work done and was again greeting with so much care!!! I highly recommend this office!!!

What a team... Dr. Tampoya and his staff know what it means to not only provide the best of dental care, but their patient service is the absolute best! Each staff member is genuinely friendly and do the utmost in ensuring a positive experience. Everyone on the entire team does a fantastic job and love them all!!!

Terrible customer service. I waited two months for this appt. My son and I were recommended to come here and had anxiety about his first dentist visit. I’m normally on time to my appointments but was stuck behind a bus and as a single mom things happen. I even called to tell them we were running late and when I got there was told I can’t be seen and “as an adult your expected to be on time.” This is understandable for a repeat offender but I’m literally a new patient who just had a bad day. Terrible experience. Lack of compassion and tact.

I've been going to South Lake Dentistry for a few years and have nothing but good things to say about the entire staff. Sabrina, my hygienist, is so gentle and very caring throughout the cleaning. She stops frequently to ask if I'm ok and is super sweet to remember what we talked about at the last visit. Dr. Yura is also a very nice man and seems to really care about my health, as well as my teeth. I've had a couple of procedures done with him. He keeps me informed about what to expect through the entire process I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Ever since we moved here and had to find a new dentist, we have been pleased beyond measure with the detailed and fine work that Dr. Tampoya has done. We have had many crowns and fillings done unfortunately, due to many inconsistent dentists before in other states and we highly recommend his services and skills. His staff is always friendly and in contact with us whenever there is a question or after we have work done. If you need a great dentist, Dr. Tampoya is for you.
