Southland Children's Dentistry, formerly Steven Sample DDS Child & Adolescent Dentistry, was founded upon the belief that our main job is to create an environment whereby children become comfortable and happy to come to the dentist. For some, this may sounds impossible (probably due to bad experiences at a dentist as child!). We focus our care on having state of the art technology and applying treatment based in the latest research.

I have taken my daughter here since she was 1 year old. The whole staff is absolutely amazing & we love Dr. Cook! They’re patient & kind to my baby even when she is screaming and crying. I recommend them to everyone!

Simply the best dentist for little kids...very patient people..i was totally impressed with the treatment my little girl 4 year oldreceived in here..we brought her before to 4 other dentistry offices and all of them failed just to take a simple x-rays, and in here they all worked so kind and patient with my kid. We are more than pleased with their service and environment in this office

Dr.Sellers and his assistant Anthony was great with my son. My son has autism and made him feel very comfortable. This is an awesome staff from the beginning to the end. Very well trained with children thank you Southland staff.

I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Shields! We were visiting Albany over the holiday weekend when my son broke his tooth. Dr. Shields talked with our pediatric dentist from our hometown, coordinated a care plan, and then came in to do the procedure after hours. My son was upset and I was so stressed, but he made everything go as smoothly as possible. I couldn’t have been in better hands!

I absolutely love love love this pediatric dental office!!! The staff is so caring, loving, and welcoming. The doctors honestly and truly want what is best for you child!! My children will go here until they are all adults!! My children always have a wonderful experience and they do not fear going to the dentist. Thank You Southland for loving and taking care of us!

I have been bringing my children here for years and last week I had to bring my two year old to have crowns put on two front teeth in which I was extremely overwhelmed with having to do. The staff was very helpful and reassuring and even kept me informed during the procedure which I really appreciated. Dr. Sellers did an AMAZING JOB with my baby and I can't even tell which one's have the crowns. I am one happy momma and I'd definitely recommend this dentist!!!

Southland is nothing less than AMAZING! The staff is awesome! Very professional & extremely caring! Dr. Fields is excellent! My son has a great experience every time! They actually take the time out to explain what's going on with your child, they allow & encourage parent involvement during procedures, & they have you in & out in no time ! They even go as far as sending you handwritten thank you letters in the mail. I'd definitely recommend anyone in need of a dentist for their child to come to Southland.

My daughter was terrified of her previous dentist.  He is harsh and has no business dealing with children.   My daughter has had medical issues since birth which have resulted in catheterization,  bloodwork,  an endoscopy and colonoscopy,  trips to out-of-state doctors, and countless tears shed.  When my best friend suggested S. Ga Pediatric Dentistry I was so excited!  Her first appointment was a little scary for her, but the staff was beyond amazing.   The second visit was a little less scary.  The third visit was a piece of cake!  My daughter has never liked anyone in any sort of medical field.   They hurt.  This is the best experience she has ever had!  Five stubborn baby teeth pulled she's 11 and no tears at all!  Thank you a million times for your care, patience,  unwavering kindness, and love that we have felt from the second we step foot in the building!

This dentistry is awesome. The staff is so nice, helpful. My children were actually happy when they left, and excited to go. Dr. Field is awesome, fast, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Fields and his staff made my children and I feel comfortable and at ease, there were no tears. Everything was  seamless, quite, easy, and very kid friendly.

My kids love their dentist! Neither complains or pouts when I tell them they have to go and I love how comfortable they feel at the dentist. I LOVE the entire staff and completely feel my children are receiving the best care possible for their teeth. I highly recommend Southland Children Dentistry to any parent looking for a great dentist office for their children
