This has to be the worst dr office I have been too. Dr Ellen Burkett read the wrong patient results to me my entire physical appt. She literally discussed someone 20 years older results paying no attention to my age difference and me saying I never had that test done. At the end she gave me the written copy---oops HIPPA. Now 7 months later they can't seem to figure the billing out. They put the wrong procedure codes in for my mammogram and bone density. They won't return calls and after I finally reached Tammy she told me I need to call Littleton Hospital and track the person down they need to talk to. Do not waste your time, money or health going here. I also have had a PA sit and google stuff when I had a question- I can do that at home myself No Thanks
I went in a few months ago to have an initial appointment after finding this place through my insurance. At no point in the call to schedule this appointment did they tell me they would be doing blood work. In the past, my doctors will let me know that blood work needs to be done and schedule another appointment. I told the phlebotomist that I will pass out not a maybe, I always do regardless of how much I eat or drink. She didn’t believe me, told me I’d be fine becasue I don’t have diabetes. Guess what, I passed out like I always do if I’m not laying down. The whole time I was trying to get myself better, the staff kept calling me anorexic. I was embarrassed and mortified. I am not anorexic, I just have a naturally fast metabolism. I originally went in to get my thyroid checked as I am experiencing some mental health concerns and wanted to rule everything out. The nurse didn’t even ask any questions, gave me a screener and tried to push medications onto me. She also told me I don’t need to be seeing a therapist to get help. After I told her I am a therapist. I will most likely find somewhere else to go in the future because I can’t step foot in this office without getting infuriated. Train your staff better and be kind. It’s not that hard.
I have been here a few times and every time, I have never seen Dr. Burkett. I have had to come in 3 different times for the same thing, that they assured me was taken care of. My prescriptions are always wrong, and it communication is not a thing here apparently. I leave message after message and I never get a response. My own pharmacy can't even get into contact with them.
Incompetent provider. Was a new patient and went in to establish care and get prescription refilled. Brought pill bottle with all info on it, but the provider wrote a completely different prescription in fact for the drug I specifically said I couldn't take because I had bad reactions in the past. Good thing my pharmacist caught the error! Ridiculous the provider wrote and sent the wrong prescription while holding and referencing the pill bottle with correct info on it.
I have been a patient for 25 years and my medical care has been excellent. The staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Burkett has always been on the cutting edge of medical care. And, I have never had to wait more than ten minutes.
The staff at SouthPark Internal Medicine is very knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful and friendly. Dr. Burkett, Dr. Pirozzi and their advanced practice providers have years of experience in treating multiple chronic and acute conditions and focusing on preventative medicine and health promotion. They offer same day appointments and are very flexible with scheduling. Great place to be a patient!
Horrible customer service on the phone. It’s 2021 you would think they would learn how to better accommodate over the phone or even answer a question. They constantly push to make an appointment for ONE QUESTION. Advice to management- train your employees basic customer service skills on the phone! You lost a another patient.
The receptionist has absolutely no respect for patient confidentiality. Very disappointed when she shared my very private medical information with the entire waiting room of people. I don’t feel comfortable going to this practice and do not feel like they have respect for their patients or their privacy.
I have been a patient for about nine years. I love everyone in this office. They actually seem to care about you, the person, and your health.
Folks are helpful, attentive and called me by my name.
