Decently sized indoor shopping mall with a mix of national/international stores Macy’s JCP, H&M, Bath and Body Works, FYE, etc. and a lot of local/small businesses. They also have a food court with a few different options and tons of jewelry stalls/places. There is a movie theater on campus and plenty of parking spots.
It is a very nice place to visit but the restaurant that is inside there is called GREAT STEAK AMERICA'S PREMIER CHEESESTEAK have a bad behavior they insulted us simply because we were taking so long to order the food. badly educated
A once vibrant mall with unique shops and restaurants, Southpark Mall has experienced numerous changes over the years. Still serves a purpose in the tri-cities where there’s a loyal customer base who rarely venture north of the river for modern centers in Richmond.
Son had a very bad experience with security, he had to use the restroom after traveling from MD, he had to use it really bad so he started jogging and was stopped by security and questioned about what he was doing, after he told them and asked where to find the restroom, security questioned him again what was he doing! Then finally told him where it was. The worst part happened when I call to address the experience, too long to write about! Let’s just say I have a headache now.
The children's play area is in desperate need of cleaning and sanitizing. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. There's food and drink debris all over the seats.
Once the best in this area now just a sad empty relic of awesome shopping's past
Really liked shopping at Southpark. Went during the week before Christmas and they weren't too crowded. Their vendors were happy and friendly. The only negative is their food court. I will shop again but make other plans for lunch.
Visited this mall in the early afternoon, mid-week. Very quiet, smaller selection of stores. But all in all, it was a good experience.
Everytime I go to South Park Mall, I always have myself a time. Everytime I go to South Park Mall, I always leave my woes behind. Everytime I go to South Park Mall, I always see if I can't unwind. Everytime you go to South Park Mall, come met some friends of mine.
The area is nice and clean. I am only reviewing the parking lot. Plenty if room to park an RV and shop. Next to the main entrance is Planet Fitness which is great if you are traveling and need a quick workout and shower, plus Walmart is just around the corner which is very convenient. Everything you could ever need in one area. No complaints. Great place.
