Fairly skilled barbers, but I stopped going here because on two separate occasions, the individual cutting my hair took the twenty dollar bill I gave them and KEPT my change without checking with me first.Took the money, slammed the drawer, PHYSICALLY stepped around me with no intent to make change obviously sending a message and told me to have a good day. They knew I expected change because on every other occasion they DID give it to me. The rates here had already been increased three times since the place changed hands, and at the time, I was really hurting financially. On both occasions, that change was all I would have had left until payday, and I did not appreciate the boldness with which this person decided to “get” their tip. You don’t just TAKE peoples’ money on top of what your cost of service is, particularly when you raise your rates every 4-6 months, because you felt you deserved it, and you’re trying to turn a tiny corner barbershop which people loved because of its pricing and simplicity into a Carmel salon. Big mistake, and flat out rude.
Kelley was very friendly and gave me a good clean cut on my head. Pricing is affordable too. Didn't line my beard up very well though. It was asymetric and I had to fix it at home.
Michelle was very attentive and helpful, giving me a very nice cut. I also appreciated the ability to make an appointment, not wait. Also liked the old school shoulder massage!!!
3 things grinded my gears here but the cut was not one of them. Appointment only place cash only place but Kelley got my boys head looking really crispy!!
It states on their window that walk-ins are welcomed, how can you do walk-ins with one barber that only goes by appointments? The lady was very nice thoughService: Haircut
Eduardo is my guy through thick & thin! He has cut my hair many different styles, consistently a good cut every time, great conversation, great guy.
You know moving into a new house in a new town, there 1 task that seems simple but often times it's a chore. That is finding your Barbershop or Hair sytlust. Today I found mine. Southport Barbershop. Michelle has cut my hair consistently for the 3rd time and is so polite and totally makes you feel like one of her regulars. Since retiring from the Military I have always kept the same hair style, and always having to explain how I want my hair done and for veterans and our way of explaining things like hair cuts while in the service. Well she always understands what I mean. Best hair cut I've ever had. I've never had to wait after setting my appt., which it seems like she always holds back a couple openings for last minute cuts from tjis procrastinating sailor lol. Oh if you go get a hair cut or style, a good icebreaker is talk about smoothies. Hopefully she likes the one I just bought her from Smoothie King, guess I find out next month. Sure hope that i dont have to find another barber. Well hopefully it's the thought that counts, cause a great barber sure makes my life so much easier, especially like Michelle and The Southport Barbershop.

I love the shop they cut good hair but you always need an appointment they close early on Saturday n Sunday monday closed not sure how u suppose to survive.honestly just found a better barber down the street thats always open and walk ins welcome with good music.Service: Haircut
