The Southwest Regional Mental Health Board (SWRMHB) works to ensure a high-quality behavioral health system by engaging community members, identifying needs, stimulating new initiatives, and advocating for improvements. Our Catchment Area Councils (CACs) provide a venue for all stakeholders—consumers, family members, providers, and town representatives—to work together to improve mental health services for the residents of Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton, CT.
The mission of Southwest Regional Mental Health Board is to ensure a quality system of comprehensive, recovery-oriented mental health and addiction services that enhances the quality of life and well being of all residents of Southwest Connecticut.
