Whether you are visiting the Southwestern College Deets Library in person or virtually, we are here to support your research needs. The library’s outstanding collections and services are designed to help you succeed in your studies and teaching.
The library offers more than 70 online databases and a physical collection of 57,000 items. That may seem overwhelming if research is new to you, so we offer online tutorials, partner with faculty to offer assistance with learning about the library in class, and we are available for one-on-one assistance as well.

In addition to our own collections, we provide access to library collections across the country through resource sharing. If you can’t find something you need in our collections, please let us know what you need and we will make every attempt to locate and borrow it for you.
If you are on campus, we offer both quiet and not-so-quiet study spaces and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Please bring your own cup, as we support the campus mission to strive to live by and teach a sustainable way of life.
If you need to print an assignment for your class, you may send the print job to a library printer and pick it up on your way to class or use the library desktop computers to scan or print.
