Parking it's fast and I always find a spot in the garage, usually I aim for the 3rd or 4th floor. If you try to get a spot on the 1st and 2nd you won't find it. Price is reasonable $15 per day. The shuttle runs about every 15 min. I prefer Midway than Ohare when I have the option
Very convenient. Reasonably priced for Chicago. Plenty of buses running back n forth to the airport. I actually left something in my car before a flight, I jumped in another bus. The lady was very nice and took me right away to my car. I was back to the airport within 15 minutes. That was great service.
Our shuttle drivers were nothing short of amazing to and from the parking lot to the airport. I know it is only a ten minute ride but they were both incredibly polite and helpful. It was a nice way to start and end our travels.
ATTENTION!! Make sure your cars tags are up to date and your car is legal. City police patrolled and they do actively give tickets. Other than that this place is reasonable with quick shuttles to and from airport.
Your best bet for extended parking at Midway airport. It costs $15 per day and a shuttle is provided to and from the airport. Take shuttles 7 or 11 to economy parking lot, not economy parking garage to get back to your car upon your return.
No grace period on wrong turns and no safe way to exit from the entryway so I have to assume wrong return revenue from returning rental cars is a measured part of their business model. I wouldn't trust business with them based on that.
Perfect location for parking both short and long stay. The garage is covered to the elements and has many floors to park. Elevator options are available as well. A very well lit area and only minutes from shuttle service to and from the airport. Check them out on your next trip.
I took a wrong turn into the driveway to enter the parking lot. At that point you have two options: turn around and risk being hit by traffic because it is a one-way street without a traffic light OR pay the $4 fee for the one second it takes to drive to the exit. I spoke to the gate keeper and there was no sympathy and no mercy toward the situation. The parking lot seems nice though…
$15 per day... garage or lot... no swipe card program for any type of loyalty or convenience... The most miserable shuttle drivers of any transportation I take across the country.
Midway used to be a nice little alternative to O'Hare, but since the previous administration did everything they could to accommodate their "ride-sharing" overlords, Midway has become a nightmarish end to an exhausting, draining, demoralizing, passenger corralling experience that has become the embodiment of modern day air travel. No thought or planning went in to anything the city did; it looks like they made it up as they went along, and the frayed nerves and congestion is evident. The city's crew that exist to provide order to this chaos are more involved with their mobile devices than their jobs. The congestion that has become commonplace here is caused by and compounded by novice, unprofessional drivers and airport-tax avoiding "customers" of alleged "transportation" providers perilously wandering away from designated pedestrian areas to meet up with their assigned vehicle. Whether to help their customers avoid these taxes or move themselves ahead of other drivers in line, many of these vehicles use the spaces provided for the parking lot busses, and that adds to the mess and to the delays. Other cities provide buses to take these "ride-share" customers to a lot so they can meet up with their ride, who is waiting in a numbered space that the driver has conveyed to the passenger. There is more order, less chaos, less congestion, and the city can collect whatever fee it wants from the providers as they leave the lot. Unfortuately, the current admistration doesn't look as though they are interested in correcting this mess. I can't help but wonder, if Midway is such as mess during a "normal" day, then what horrors await us if an emergency happens. So, if you thought you could avoid the shoving, yelling, honking, irritation that getting home has become by choosing to park at Midway Economy Parking, you won't accomplish your goal. The parking buses have to navigate this mess just like everyone else. Come to think of it, it's making Amtrak and MegaBus seem more like an inspired option.
