Space Coast Audubon is the only Audubon chapter in Brevard County. We like birds and the environment!
Space Coast Audubon uses volunteers and donations to keep Florida beautiful or to return Florida to its original condition. The Indian River Lagoon is of upmost importance since it is an integral part of the County and in dire need of help. We like to bird and some in the chapter chase rarities. Many excellent photographers share photos with us. We love the outdoors and want to keep it so future generations can enjoy it too.
The purpose of the Space Coast Audubon Society is to provide an opportunity for people to become aware firsthand of the value and beauty of nature. Through conservation and education, we hope to create an understanding of and interest in all wildlife, preserve irreplaceable natural resources and restore the Earth’s ecosystems of which mankind is an inseparable element.
We have monthly meetings on the third Friday of every month, and field trips most weekends. All meetings and field trips are free and open to the public. Visit our web site for details.
