The camp was terrific. My son spent the week learning Spanish language and lots of wonderful culture this week was Mexico themed and he learned a lot about Mexican life. He also learned to cook traditional foods and great Spanish vocabulary in the kitchen and doing fun arts and crafts including making a real piñata. He had fun playing outside as well. The team was wonderful, warm and caring. He is excited to go again next summer.
Spanish Exploradores was a great experience for my daughter. Being that she is only 5, I was skeptical about enrolling her into the program. To my surprise my daughter truly enjoyed learning the fundamentals of Spanish. Erika has a special way of engaging her students to want to learn. My daughter looked forward to participating in her Spanish Exploradores class every Thursday. When my daughter returned home, she would independently pull out her binder to review with me, what she had learned. This class is very beneficial if your looking for your child to learn a second language. Erika is an amazing instructor; you will not be disappointed!!!
Spanish Exploradores is absolutely amazing! Erika visits 10 of our classrooms at four different schools and each child and teacher love not only her but the program! She keeps the children engaged and active the entire time. If you are thinking of adding an amazing class to add, look no further!
My daughter, age 11, has taken two of Erika’s classes. One virtual and now one outdoors and she has enjoyed them both! She is learning a lot and really likes how Erika uses the real world environment to reinforce vocabulary words. Spanish Exploradores has really sparked an interest in learning a new language for our family!
My 4 year old loves Spanish Exploradores! She's been in the class for 3 months and frequently uses spanish now to count, name colors, and greet people. The class is fun and Senora Erika is very welcoming and engaging with all the kids in class.
Erika does a great job of meeting kids where they are at including accommodating the limitations of the very young ones, choosing easy and enjoyable crafts, and making it fun to learn Spanish! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, she had to make several adjustments moving to an outdoor location, getting special clear masks so the kids can still see her speaking, making separate craft kits for each child, etc., but she made it all work smoothly and I felt confident in the safety of the class.
