Spanish Lake Primary School

The way this school has opted not to get involved in the incident involving a 13 year old student physically assaulting an 8 year old student, causing him a concussion and broken arm, is beyond disgusting! If my children attended this school I would be pulling them out right now because clearly this school has no value for the safety of it's students. This incident was a racist hate crime which began as a group of white students harrassing a black 8 year old student and his 4 year old sister and ended with this 8 year old boy being in and out of the ER since it happened on November 14. The harrassing students all have parents employed at your school so is that the real reason you choose not to get involved? Or is it that you value racism and hate crimes? This needs to be rectified because your excuse that "the incident happened during dismissal therefore the kids will not be reprimanded" is not enough!

best school in ascension parish! would have my child go there any day, despite the lies going around about the recent incident.

Great school...from the awesome and sweet Principal to informative teachers and friendly office staff this is a great place to send your kids to school. A+
