Spanish Trail Golf club is located in Cade, St. Martin Parish, which is located in South Louisiana. We are a semi
private club. We cater to members and non members alike. We are open for play 7 days a week. Only closed on major
holidays. Our facility's include a practice range, along with chipping and putting green. We have a full bar and
grill that caters to everyone 7 days a week.
COURSE HISTORY-
Spanish Trail Golf Club was built in the mid 1950's, which makes it one of the oldest traditional style golf
courses in the area. It is situated on the Teche Ridge, which gives it large elevation changes from hole to hole.
This was created thousands of years ago when the bank of the Mississippi was located right on our location. The
lowest parts of the course includes two large drainage ditches, which drain the course exceptionally well. These
elevation changes and drainage canals make the golf course playable even after very heavy rains.
Since it was built in the 1950's, it has hundreds of mature Live Oak, Pecan, and Pine trees, which makes for very
tight fairways. Our one tiered greens are small, which puts a premium on accurate iron play. Errant tee shots into
the trees will make for a challenging, yet thrilling round of golf. This, plus the fact that we have out of bounds
and or water hazards on 15 of our 18 holes. Needless to say, it will help to make an exciting round of golf.
PRICES-
Weekdays (Mon.-Thurs.) Green Fee= $22/ with cart: $37 (tax included)
Weekends (Fri.-Sun.) Green Fee= $24/ with cart $39 (tax included)
Junior rate is age 14 and under 7 days a week- $15.00/ with cart $26.00
all players must have a valid drivers license to drive the golf cart
Small Range Bucket- $3.00 (tax included)
Large Range Bucket- $4.00 (tax included)
Tee Times are not required, but will give you a better chance at getting the time you desire. Although, MEMBERS can only schedule tee times on Saturdays before noon!!
