"It all started with a simple question - “Where can we get a good burger?”We are a full service, family friendly restaurant located in a re-purposed 1920’s Dairy bottling plant in the historic harbor district of Conneaut, Ohio. We serve fresh from scratch sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and unique daily specials. We also have a full service bar with an impressive selection of craft beers, spirits, and wines. We regularly feature hand-crafted cocktails with seasonal ingredients, fresh juices, and premium spirits.In addition to our chic and cozy dining room, we now feature a four-season heated patio where you can savor the lake breeze in the summer or watch a killer snow storm in the winter while enjoying your meal."

The atmosphere and service were great. However, our meals were underwhelming. The wings were our favorite of the things we ordered, but could have used more sauce. The pizza tasted a step up from my school lunch pizza on Friday. The burger was tasty, but my bun was a bit hard and chewy. Also the curly fries tasted over fried and had started to wrinkle, with minimal potato substance. The beer menu was fantastic and the cocktails looked great! We would definitely return for drinks, but our meals left a lot to be desired.
What a nice find on our travels. Our food was perfect. And they had a huge beer assortment and wine. I never knew so many out there in the world. Very clean look and they immediately clean tables. Nice size woman's restroom with fun signs. Even an enclosed outside area with heaters. Wrap around parking areas. Nice to see Lake area. Close to war museum and Conneaut art museum.
We were here back in Sept. for the 1st time. Our whole experience here was great. We sat at the bar. Most importantly our bar maid was very friendly and personable and the owner took time to talk to us and explain some drinks and about his place. We came within an hour of closing, but they didn't rush us out and the food was fresh, honestly some of the best bar food we've ever had. I suggest you try the ham loaf appetizers if they still offer it. The frozen lemonade drinks were perfectly tasty! Very friendly people and I hope our trucking travels brings us this way again! I think this is my 1st 5 star review. Well worth it. Thank you for a welcoming experience.
We had the fish sandwich potato chip crust sooo crunchy, the mushroom burger, and the barbecue burger. We all loved our food. The atmosphere was really comfy and inviting, the waitresses were kind. Those home made curly fries were soo good. We also got cheese curds with a great spicy mayo dipping sauce. There's some hilarious gems on the walls as well, dogs in suits, this fox delighted me
This place was absolutely amazing. I had the special which was the chicken fajita bowl — it was incredible. My husband had the fish sandwich and I’m so upset I didn’t take a photo. It was the best we’ve ever had. Everything is made from scratch and was beyond delicious. The place itself is very clean and well kept. The service was quick efficient and very friendly. The drinks were also stellar. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was also very affordable!
Came here on a really hot day, cold ac, amazing frozen cherry limeade slushy things, all in all amazing food and summer did an amazing job as a server! Hope to be back soon, if you haven't tried you won't regret!
Sandwiches we had were good...fries appeared fresh cut, but were anything but fresh. Sandwiches were piping hot, fries were lukewarm at best, and old tasting. There were 4 tables of 4 or less people in entire restaurant on the patio, and our waitress was MIA for 20 minutes, but we saw the other waitress several times. Menu was 1 page front and back of your pretty basic items, but there were several pages of beer and wine, so if you want booze, that's where to go...
This is everything I look for in a good dive. Great food, fair prices, great service, good music and atmosphere. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Good wings too. Come check this place out.
We've been to Sparky's four times in two years. Every time we go, the servers are great, the drink/beer menu is extraordinary, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and most importantly, the food has always been cooked to perfection. I'm a picky eater, so that's pretty good haha! The owners work very hard and continue to please.Food: 5/5
We appreciate y’all for making that amazing Poutine for us WW2 reenactors even though it was off the menu for D-Day Conneaut. Can’t wait to eat at Sparky’s again next year!!!
