Many often ask, why "Sparrow" was chosen as the name of our business.
In the beginning, the original intention was to create a center that offered:
~ A space for quality and qualified providers to work together as a team, either with each other as a part of the center or supported through the center by connections and co-treatments throughout our community.
~ A space to turn to that supports our client and patient's individual needs and their path to wellness.
~ A place that offers a beacon for helping to unify each other in our community.
~ A place that encourages and supports an individual's hard work, and reminds each other to preserve and support our integrity and teamwork.
Our greatest intention is to step forward first with our hearts, from a place of love. To help each other remember who we truly are, providing encouragement and support as we walk through life. Reminding each other that it takes a village and we are stronger together than apart.
Sparrows symbolize and remind us of all this.
Many of us can look at a sparrow and see a bird like many others, rather insignificant, small and redundant in it's appearance. At times, this can be how we perceive each other.
If we pause, look closer, and open our eyes, we can see one of many buzzing along, working hard, and doing their part. The sparrow takes its responsibility seriously, and it's part in the community. Their strength is in their numbers, and in the piece to the puzzle each "sparrow" holds.
What sparrows provide and offer, are interlocking pieces. In these pieces, you find their strength. The strength which holds together their community with responsibility, accountability, integrity, resilience and heart. Each "little" sparrow, works to contribute and add something of value to their community. If we want to live happy and bountiful lives, the sparrow stresses the need for us to keep moving.
We must work for what we want. By accomplishing things that we can be proud of, it will also continue to boost our self-esteem and sense of worth. Sparrows remind us not to underestimate our selves and abilities, and reminds us of our self-worth.
