Fire protection and emergency services response to the outlying northwest Belton area, including Westcliff and Sparta Valley Parks along with Belton Lake.
Sparta Volunteer Fire Department is a 100%, all volunteer fire department who serves the citizens and inhabitants of outlying northwest Belton, Texas. Our district extends from Fort Hood to the Belton City Limits, and over to FM 93 towards Nolanville, with a primary reponse size of approximately 7.14 square miles with over 5,000 citizens inhabiting. We are dedicated and committed to protecting these citizens with high quality and professional standards in firefighting and emergency services. Our services include fire protection and suppression, rescue services, and emergency medical response. Sparta volunteers train twice a week every week to keep up to date on the latest tactics and standards of Fire and EMS. We train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 P.M at our fire station. All are welcome to attend training and join our department, just stop by the station and ask about joining! No experience required!
