Our 'Why':
At the SNRC we believe that everyone who wants to should be able to run pain free. We believe that running is the most natural form of exercise and can change the way you live your life. We do this by providing evidenced-based, state of the art treatment approaches which will insure that you run with the best mechanics possible.
The mission of the SNRC is to expand the current understanding of running related, musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on treatment and prevention, and to use this understanding to provide our patients with the most effective evidence-based care.
To this end, we continually strive to become a center of excellence that provides the foundation for evidence-based practice through cutting edge research with innovative technologies and cross-discipline collaborations. In addition, we recruit and train the brightest clinicians to provide the best care possible to our patients. Finally, we educate future scientists in conducting outstanding research that continues to enhance the understanding, treatment and prevention of running-related injuries. These approaches are extended to orthopedic conditions affecting locomotion, such as osteoarthritis, total hip and knee replacements and amputations.
