I was helped by De’chelle today and watched her interactions with other customers and she was so extremely helpful and positive. It was so refreshing to see such a wonderful and bright personality that was willing to take the time to acknowledge her regular customers as well as help new ones along the way. I felt she truly deserved to be recognized for her efforts in providing excellent customer service! We need more people like her in this world! Thank you De’chelle for being yourself and being wonderful to those you help.
BEWARE!!!! Won't be back! Got 15 dollars in gas at the pump, and a $79.40 transaction showed up on my bank account an hour and a half later??? Called my bank to report fraud and I was told and I quote..."we have gotten a lot of calls about Speedway charging new transactions after people get gas and have gone home." So I told bank that's not mine and it wasn't authorized. It put my bank account in the negative and I needed to purchase medication today at my pharmacy and now my account is in the negative?? Bank told me it looks like a "hold" to make sure my gas purchase goes through????? I got $15 in gas and I go to speedway at least 2 times a week so why would $79.40 randomly be a hold for $15 in gas?? SHADY!!!! If doesn't drop off I will be at the gas station in person. I WILL NEVER GO BACK to Speedway again!! This is the 2nd time in 4 months they've done something SHADY the last time I was double charged. I repeat I will not be back and I'm posting this to Facebook and Instagram and Google so people will know!!
It did have gas and was open late. Let's say something nice first. The prices were 20-40c3nts higher per gallon than gas at the neighboring exits. And the did NOT use the extra money to keep the bathrooms clean. Would rather go between a cactus and a rattlesnake than open that door again. If you can make it to another gas station, I genuinely believe you will be doing yourself many favors doing so.
My favorite thing about Speedway has always been the coffee bar... But those good old days are a long gone and so is the coffee bar of old. It's not that the new machines that they added to dispense the coffee makes it too bad, it's the fact that the condiments are never stocked anymore because the staff do not have to continuously monitor and fill the coffee pots. Trying to improve something only to downgrade another part of it does not equal better all around.
I understand trying to get employees and its tuff to fill positions. Corporate must not wanna pay anyone because u will see a new person there and they work lots of hrs and get burnt out and leave it seems. And lately they won't take cash. When u refuse American currency thats a problem
I’ve been here numerous times and a sign is on the door closed, be back in 20 minutes. First off 20 minutes from when??!! And secondly how do you close a 24/7 gas station sporadically. Unprofessional and ridiculous. The employee is in her car smoking… fyi
Not the cleanest store. I felt dirty when I left. The cashier Yala should be taught good customer service is normally done with a smile and eye content. She’s rather unfriendly and speaks in a monotone voice. A thank you is always nice especially when you spend money where she works. And for the love of God we’re in the middle of a pandemic. A face mask covers your mouth AND nose Yala. We have been doing this for over a year now. Did you miss this memo?
The price on the sign for diesel is wrong and this isn't the first time. The receipt paper at the pump is almost always out. And the pump constantly stops at $100, which is ridiculous at the current price of fuel. Every other station I've used the same credit card at allows $125, so it's not the card. This Speedway is also regularly the highest price speedway in the area.
My daily routine is stopping at this location and I'm usually pleased with my experience. I have been for almost 8 yrs faithfully! How ever the staff turn over is constant, and their employees are always miserable with Management and scheduling. The GM is not much concerned about her team nor the quality of the training.
Are you claustrophobic? Then avoid this Speedway at all costs. Its the smallest one I have seen in a long time. With people coming in and out you will be performing some impressive maneuvers to avoid everyone. I could definitely get over that but the employees were insanely rude. The cashier was too busy talking to his buddy that had just come in to greet me or even acknowledge me in any way. He rang me up but didn't say I was good or gave me a receipt or anything. I'm not expecting 5 star service at a gas station but at least treat me like a human being. Go ahead and get gas here but don't expect to receive any kind of service as this place runs more like the towns box social than an actual place of business.
