I’m not entirely sure what one does here. It’s very muddy and buggy. There were signs up about some local history, and apparently it’s a bird sanctuary so if that’s your particular interest, then maybe you’d appreciate it more.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place for a walk with a view.. this is a perfect place
Pleasant walk with easy paved trail and option to explore island not paved. Trail borders river on west and water treatment on east.
This place could be really nice if there was parking. You have to walk a lot just to get to the trailhead. It’s pretty, but it’s so industrial around it that it takes away from the natural beauty of the area.
There is a lot of trash. No parking allowed so you have to park approx 1/2 mile away and walk there or access it by way of a trail which is littered with trash and paraphernalia, which is too bad it could be lovely as evidenced by the pics.
Pretty but needs some upkeep. Porto potties we’re amazingly clean.
Nice urban/rural trail. Interesting views and a little wildlife if you like mostly birds.
I love this place . I've noticed that the trail going left of the bridge is getting cleared. It's a great place to walk and chill.
We are happy to find this park. It's a nice stroll on a sunny day. We really enjoyed the beautiful snow capped mountains and look forward to checking this place out again in early spring when there are more migratory birds coming back to the area. For new visitors, you need to park outside the entrance in a small parking lot to the right of the road, about 1/3 miles from the entrance. There's no parking near or within the park.
Beautiful area to fish, hunt, 10mins away from everett. Also great and safe paved paths for jogging or nature walks.
