Horrible Horrible! Dr. Forage was in emergency surgery which I understand, the fact they let the whole office fill up and people wait for over 2 hours before finally telling patients he wasn’t even in the building is just terrible business. We opted to wait it out since we are from Out of town. He came in the room not even knowing why we were there, excused himself to go look at my husbands images from sunrise came back in and said your fractured blank, wear your brace and I’ll see you in June for a follow up. Spent maybe 4 minutes total with my husband and didn’t even take the time to ask if he was having any issues. No eye contact just typing on his computer. Will NOT be going back that’s for sure! BB

I saw Efrem Michael Cox for pain in my back and hips for the past year and he blamed it 100% on the fact that I smoke. I waited in the waiting room for an hour and then in the room for another 45 minutes. He came in guns blasting with the fact that I smoke. So if you want actual help go elsewhere. This place is a joke. And does nothing but blame your pain on yourself....Thanks for nothing Michael!!

I was supposed to have surgery in beginning of October but never got booked. When finally got booked it was a date that already had advised couldn’t do at end of the month. 2 months later still never got surgery booked. I moved on to get 3rd opinion and found the best Dr and staff at Synergy. One X-ray and they were able to immediately book my surgery at the same hospital this Dr uses. So how does one Dr get in quicker than your doctors. It just seems they don’t care enough to try to even book for read emails. I don’t understand how ASAP can be misunderstood but I suppose when you are not dealing with the pain yourself then people, feelings and pain level is easy to overlook. So thankful I went to Synergy to Dr D instead of following through with SBI

Was greeted with horrible customer service the girls at the front desk have zero customer service skills they had to get the doctor from surgery to come acknowledge my concerns that I had. doctor was professional. But not the front desk. I highly suggest they should be trained more in customer service skills

Dr. Duke is AMAZING! He completed a fusion on me in August and I am so happy with the overall results. Because of Dr. Duke, I am up and walking again! I am in considerably less to no pain and am getting my life back. Dr. Duke and Dan, his very knowledgeable PA, were so kind and professional. They spent all the time needed to explain the procedure and what I should expect after surgery. I felt respected as a very very scared patient. They listened to my concerns and addressed each of them. I would recommend anyone to this institution Dr. Duke if you are having back issues. You will be told the honest truth about your condition. Dr. Duke was put on this earth to do exactly what he is doing. I am blessed to have had him as my surgeon.

Dr. Duke saved my hubby. He was a second opinion for us after a Biospine location in Orlando Florida told him he needed back surgery. Dr. Duke looked at the same MRI disk as the first doctor and said his back was no different than anyone else his age. He then knew right away what my hubbies problem was. CARPEL TUNNEL. Today we got the results and it’s confirmed carpel tunnel. Dr. Duke was blunt, straight to the point and just felt like a real guy.

I was referred to doctor Duke because I had a bulging disc. He did surgery on me 12 / 2019. Him and his staff are amazing! His assistant was very thorough about everything and with me before and after the surgery. Josie in the office handles all your paperwork lightning-fast! I was so scared and I'm so glad I had it done. I feel wonderful now! I would highly recommend doctor Duke!

Dr Duke is amazing! One of the best! He truly listens to your concerns, pays attention to detail, and takes excellent care of his patients. He’s been a life saver for me. If you want the best spine surgeon, he’s the one you want helping/operating.

Surgery was a success. But horrible wait times 2+ hrs at the office.

Dr Duke is not just any doctor. He is the best! Dan his PA is also amazing. Together they are the perfect team. I had surgery 3/8/18 and I feel amazing. Not only that, Dr Duke is not one of those doctors that will just operate on anyone, he explained what's going on which is so relieving due to some of the fact that many of you would just don't know what's going on and need an answer it's so relieving to finally have a diagnosis. If you need more testing before surgery has office staff will take care of it. Also the nurses in the hospital at st. rose on Eastern and st. Rose Parkway are amazing, and they also talks so well about the doctor and Dan the PA. Before your surgery you meet with Dan and he takes you through every single part of the surgery and everything is going to happen the day of the day after and everything that you need to have a successful and knowledgeable operation. You are a hundred percent aware of everything that is going on and what's happening from A to Z. know exactly what's going to be there When you wake up they make sure to manage your pain also there's a number of people that come in the next day PT, OT, case management.etc Depending on what type of surgery that you're having ,you'll know whether you're going to have drains, a catheter, everything is explained to you and nothing is a surprise!! Whatever you need at home; nurses to do wound care, a walker... whatever it may be, it is delivered to your room before you even leave the hospital there for nothing slips through the cracks. Dr. Duke has one doctor of the Year many many years in a row. I had a cholecystectomy which is a gallbladder removal in December at Desert Springs Hospital and I have to say that the experience between that and my back surgery which was a major operation was so much different my surgeon was late they made me wait 3 weeks to take my Staples out at dr. Duke's office I waited 8 days and my Staples were out!! When I have my gallbladder removed they made me made 21 days to get my Staples out in the Staples are growing into my skin! That just goes to show the difference in the level of care! If you need back surgery, a second opinion, anything!! I would not blink an eye and I would go to spine and brain Institute Dr. Duke is amazing!!!
