Spinner place is an apartment complex for UVM, Champlain and CCV students/faculty conveniently located in downtown Winooski.

Description

Enjoy the fun and freedom of living off-campus with the utilities and convenience of on-campus housing.

Spinner Place is only one mile from campus. We are conveniently located in downtown Winooski – a short trip down Colchester Ave!

Our apartments are fully furnished suite style units with private bedrooms. There is a shared kitchen and living room each equipped a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The building also has full-service coin-operated laundry rooms.

Rent is per bedroom and includes all utilities plus internet. We are currently leasing for the 2018-2019 school year. Contact us today for more information!

I have loved this place since I signed my lease two years ago. Office and maintenance staff are incredible at accommodating students needs and concerns. Beautiful location for any outing and a gorgeous natural area within walking distance as well as many dinning experiences. Within walking distance of UVM and the CCV Winooski campus. Everything is furnished too and laundry on site! I cannot say enough great things about this building, the staff and the Redstone management company!
This is a great student housing option for UVM. It is very close to the bus stop, and it is about 10-15 min max bus ride to get to the campus. There are many floorplan options, and all utilities are included! Not only that, but you are also very close to the lake, which has a nice nature walk if you have pets or just like to exercise! The current management team is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended to apartment!
Things are definitely changing here in the last few years, now with American Campus managing the building. They are now adding a gym and computer room for all guest, also have a game room and a 84in Smart TV to watch the games. Also if you have any issues with the apartment the Maintenance Techs are amazing. Just a great deal for anyone trying to find a safe and secure place to live while attending school.
It’s a good option because of convenience and living with other students, but there have been quite a few issues, not necessarily Spinner Place’s fault, but : Fruit fly infestations, reoccurring fire alarms there were perhaps 10? times in the past few weeks where it rung, once at 4:30 am. I’ve also sometimes not been able to sleep, despite living on the 5th floor, because of persistant yelling outside in the middle of the night. I’ve been harassed twice now, at the bus stop and in the parking garage, by people who must live nearby. Just things to consider. Positive sides are that there is a nice gym, good utilities and it’s a nice, clean building.
Great location and very convenient for students. No need to worry about electricity, internet or water since it is all inclusive, free laundry on site and a small gym. The bus stop is right outside the building too!
Spinner Place is ideal for those who are looking for a more independent living space while maintaining the lifestyle of a college student and it is a great place to live if you keep that in mind! I’ve had many friends live at spinner a number of times through the years and made a lot of friendships with others who’ve lived here in the past. Due to COVID-19 my school was extremely limited on the housing they had to offer and Spinner place has actually benefitted me a lot! The rooms a smaller but typical for size for campus living as this building was a dorm building prior to being managed by red stone. I was genuinely shocked by the closet space I got in my room. Additionally I’m really satisfied by the amount of storage space in the kitchen and by the bathroom. Highly suggest if you’re looking for an affordable alternative to living on campus and while this building is managed by red stone I’ve felt more comfortable here than renting through other building management companies in the area.
Can not say enough GREAT things about the General Manager, Jo-Ann, and her hubby George. OUTSTANDING couple. They will immediately make you feel welcome, answer any and all questions professionally and promptly, and attend to any special requests or needs that you may have. Building is partially renovated with plans to complete renovation soon. Conveniently located very near GMT bus stop and they offer covered parking as well. Laundry on site. Other amenities include convenient shopping, dining, and beauty services within walking distance. All utilities along with cable and WiFi are included with rent. 5 stars all around.
Jo is amazing. She has been very responsive and helpful during the stressful experience of finding housing in the Burlington area. Every communication via phone or email has been informative. Her demeanor is one of caring and education. Her response time is awesome as well!
Rooms are a bit small for the rent you pay and you get charged an exorbitant fee if you get locked out outside office hours. That aside, all the utilities are great.
Great student housing option. Affordable and convenient with Everything included. There is a bus stop right out front.
