Always a pleasure to go eat at Spires good food.Food: 5/5
Excellent service compliments of Winnie. Old school atmosphere in a traditional 1950’s diner. The decorum is reflective of that era so is the quality of food, the size, the service. A total gem stuck in time. When food was better, portions were bigger & servers were taking pride in their profession. Refilling the cup of decaf numerous times. Checking in, giving the full sit down full service experience. I must say, most places have been lacking since the pandemic, & while other places do the bare minimum. Here the staff goes above & beyond. A classic neighborhood American Diner the likes we mostly see in the movies nowadays.
On the 405 with the family and want to stop for brunch but don’t want fast food or chains? Come here. Family friendly and decent food. Pleasant staff!
This place is a dirty little dump. The food was bland and unsavory. Even the drinks were nasty. One tasted like mildew smells. The only positive thing was our server. She had a great attitude and was attentive and personable. I brought my food home hoping I could spice it up enough to eat it but it ended up in the trash anyway. Never again...
First time here at the restaurant. The service was great don't get me wrong but on the other hand the food wasn't to my expectation. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken and it was good but wouldn't order it again. It was not terrible, I mean the pasta and sauce tasted great but the chicken was missing some seasoning, I mixed it really good with the sauce and all but it still didn't work for me. The plate came with garlic bread but came few minutes after I got my food and I did not like it whatsoever, too much garlic and not baked enough. Can be my personal preference but I like my garlic bread crunchy this bread was soft. My husband ordered the burger I forgot the name and he had no comment, he ate the whole thing. The restaurant was nice and clean, few people were there mostly older folks and the service was great, the waiter came every few minutes to check on us. Nice place overall, might come again for breakfast but not dinner.
We haven't been to a Spire's in years but were hungry and right down the street from it so we went. We were all surprised by how good it was. The portions were large, the service was fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't get the ladies name she was incredibly attentive. I've been to "better" restaurants and not had service this good. We ordered an appetizer sampler and were impressed everything was obviously house made, which is always a good thing. Everyone enjoyed every bit of it. The rest of our food was just as yummy. All of us will be coming back. Next time I'm trying a slice of the chocolate cake it looked really good.
Went to Spires with a pretty big party and the service and food were both great. I would say some of the best service I've gotten recently and the atmosphere was nice. I used to live very close by and never went I wish I would have found out about this place a long time ago.Food: 5/5
I absolutely love this Spires location! Each time coming here is like going home. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and always the best service and best food. It's sad that this restaurant is closing at the end of May. It's truly the end of an era.
