I love this place so much. The selection is varied with really great price points, making nice art supplies actually accessible to way more people. The store is staffed by artists and enthusiasts so your questions about products and techniques get useful responses from people who have experience. That alone is nearly priceless. I can't recommend this place enough.

I have been a customer of Art Supply for 25 years. Ken and Co have always been there to answer any and all art questions. They go out of their way to order in items for me and during the pandemic lock down they allowed me to drop in to pick up watercolors. The store is always clean and well organized. Craig goes out of his way to order in the newest releases and always has new items for all mediums to try. In a world of box stores spokane art supply stands far above. I moved from the area for several years only stopping in on holidays. Seeing familiar faces and being remembered is wonderful. I moved back home and continue my frequent visits to this wonderful shop. Do yourself a favor stop in and if your lucky the honey will be in stock. It's the best in the city!

Although I've visited countless times, this is my first-ever class experience, and it has been nothing short of exceptional. I've ventured into watercolor painting for the first time, and the instructor has been absolutely perfect in teaching me the basics. What's more, your shop offers incredibly reasonable prices that honestly surprised me. Often, small businesses charge much more than online retailers, but you've made it totally affordable. Best place to wander and to purchase! They really have an impressive supply of art materials. We are so lucky to have a local place like this.

This is my local fine art shop and I like that it’s a little ”Mom and Pop” style store. They’re selection isn’t huge like Artists & Craftsman or Blick, but they do a lot with the space they have and offer a great selection of quality brands like Daniel Smith, M. Graham & Co.,Golden,Williamsburg,Liquitex,W&N,Caran D’ache,Cretecolor, Arches, Pentalic, Connoisseur, Fabriano and more. The staff is always friendly and helpful to me Craig, Ken, Morgan and Charlie and the prices for paint match or beat online prices. Their wooden easels are fairly priced and if you buy your Arches watercolor paper in 25 sheet bulk at their annual October sale you’re bound to get a great deal I got a free Arches 10 pack of 16x20 sheets CP with purchase. They also offer a decent range of classes from well known, published local artists as well as hosting classes for out-of-town published artists like Joe Kronenberg, Lian Quin Zhen, Stan Miller and Wes Hanson. Stop in and check them out sometime, they will definitely have something you like, and if they don’t have it they are usually able to order it for you.

Great selection of popular art supplies as well as the unique. I thought the prices were good and the employees were pretty friendly. We'll be back.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Everywhere you turn there's an exciting new art supply you didn't know you needed to have immediately. I teach macrame classes in the large classroom there and my students are in love with the space, and the huge TV so they can see my hands up close while I'm teaching them how to tie the knots. These folks have so many different kinds of art supplies, from paper, to acrylic paint pens, brushes, clay, and a whole framing getup for making sure your treasured pieces stay perfect forever. Did I mention their prices can't be beat? The whole staff is just amazing, super duper nice, and so knowledgeable. If you haven't checked out this gem of a store you're totally missing out.

have bought my supplies here for years now. they also do an excellent job at scanning and printing oversized paintings, art. they were able to scan and prep 20+ large paintings for me in a short deadline which was really appreciated! good quality of supplies too.
