The Accounting Clerk and Accounting Assistant are paraprofessionals in the accounting field. An accounting paraprofessional analyzes and interprets the essential information about the operations of a business and contributes vitally to important policies and decisions.
Our students will earn an Accounting Clerk Certificate after completing the first three quarters of the Associate in Applied Science degree. This degree is non-transferable to a four-year university.
Students working toward the associate in arts degree for transfer to a four-year institution will take our Principles and Managerial Accounting courses that meet the requirements for the undergraduate core accounting courses for a Bachelors in Business Degree at a four year College or University Business Program.
Our mission is to provide a relevant educational experience to our students to prepare them for a meaningful and fulfilling career in the accounting profession.
